Sizes: Widths__ 762 mm (30”), 914 mm (36”), 1219 mm (48”), 1524 mm (60”). Lengths___2438 mm (96”), 3048 mm (120”), 3658 mm (144”).These are nominal dimentions, obtainable fromoversized shets.

Installations methods: Nevamar high pressures lami-nate should be bonded to a core materiel such aslaminate grade plywood, particleboard, MDF or metalusing adhesive and techniques as recommended byreliable adhesive manifacturers to the requirementsof ANSI/NEMA Publication LD3-2005.Care sholuld be taken to assure that a moistureimbalance does not exist between Nevamar laminateand the substrate prior to fabrication. Inside cornersof cutouts have 3.2 mm (1/8”) minimum radius adgestiled smooth to prevent stress cracking.

Forming Radii: Using suitable equipment, Navamarlaminates may be not formed* in stocked gradesto the following minimum uotside radius: VerticalForming (VGP) 6.5 MM (1/4”), Horizontal Forming (HGP)*Following normal conditions used for postforming, i.e.9.5 ° mm (3/8”).Maintenance: Surfaces of Nevamar laminate maybe ckeaned with a damp cloth and ardinary soap orcleaners should not be used. Stubborn stains mayrequire use or organic solvents such as alcohol, ace-tone, ketone (MEK), lacquer thinner or paint solvent.(NOTE: Although these flammable solvents will notharm Nevamar, they will attack the contact adhesiveat the glue line around the adges.) It meets the NEMA requirementsfor a high-wear type laminate with as much as sixtimes the wear value of conventional laminate.Suitable Applications for Nevamar XTRA-WearSurface include commercial and institutional installa-tions, such as fast food restaurants, cafeterias,convenience stores and wheraver abrasive wearin a major consideration. UL-listed Nevamar Fire Retardant Laminate is avail-able in 1.2 mm (.48”) Horizontal Grade (HGF) and .8 mm (.032”) Vertical Grade (VGF). Bonded withprescibed procedures to fire retardant partocleboardand backed with Nevamar FR backing, it producesa Class I fire retardant panel. When bonded to fireretardant particleboard ir inorganic reindorced fireretardant cement board using Cascophen G1149-Aand G1131 or Wonderbord WB-104A/WB-M-304-L(BORDEN Chemical, Inc.) NAVAMAR Armores Protection SurfaceAll Textured Finish items are produced whit exclu-sive Armored Protection Surface (ARP Surface®)These laminates have all the properties of conven-tional laminates and they also have seperior abrasionand scuff resitence due to a very thin deposit ofmicroscopic particles of aluminum oxide on theconventional melamine layer. Armores ProtectionSurface laminates have significantly better wearvalue that the NEMA standard for laminates. Theyalso and resist gloss change during use. Therefore,Armored Protection Surface laminate tends to retaina “brand new” apperance during most of theiruseful life. All other poperties meet the normalNEMA test requirements. Mer Cor II® Colour-Through LaminateColour-through core cosntruction; eliminates the“dark line” of standard laminates. Mel Cor II is intend-ed for use in applications where the edge af laminatescontributes to the aesthetics of the final product. Thepatented manufacturing process porvides a secondgeneration colour-through laminate that is moreflexible and much less lekely to ship that other colour-through laminates. MelCor II colours and ther corre-sponding clours in standard Nevamar are not ecactmatches. Sample evaluation is recommended. Typicaluses include high-wear applications since gouges and cuts willnot steadily show.

ThickLam - Thick Phenolic Core LaminateAvailable in thickness up to 25.4 mm (1”). Designedfor applications where the decorative surface mustcontriibute to the structural stability of the finishedassembly.
