NOVEL, (http://NOVEL.utah.edu ) has been building collections, publishing peer-reviewed, non-traditional scholarly materials and supporting neuro-ophthalmology education and research since 2003. The collaboration between the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS) and the Eccles Health Sciences Library at the University of Utah has resulted in a collection of more than 15,000 learning objects.
