PROJECT 1550 Irving Street TI LOCATION Olympia, Washington
NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL BALANCING BUREAU
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project has been per and specification using the National Environmental Balancing Bureau
(NEBB) standards and procedures.
All of the supply outlets and exhaust inlets have been proportioned to the requirements of the
Specification unless otherwise noted in the report.
A diagram is attached to this report with the supply, and exhaust grilles, registers, and diffusers
(GRD’s) numbered that reference the numbering system used in this report.
Roof Top Unit • RTU-2 is serving the second floor VVT dampers that Neudorfer Engineers balanced in
the T.I. space only. This unit is operating at 40 HZ. Please see below there are VVT
zones that are short on airflow. Neudorfer Engineers did not speed up this unit due to
the existing condition of existing spaces and did not want to disrupt the other space.
• Zone 216 serves the Entry and Office Space. This zone is designed for 550 CFM and is
operating at 555 CFM (101%) of design.
• Zone 217 serves Office Space. This zone is designed for 370 CFM and is operating at
375 CFM (101%) of design.
• Zone 218 serves the open Office Space. This zone is designed for 945 CFM and is
operating at 700 CFM (74%) of design with the VVT damper full open. The damper was
calibrated at a lower CFM and then the set point was raised back up
• Zone 219 serves the Conference Room. This zone is designed for 400 CFM and is
operating at 400 CFM (100%) of design.

PROJECT 1550 Irving Street TI LOCATION Olympia, Washington
NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL BALANCING BUREAU
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (CONTD.)
• Zone 220 serves the open Office Space. This zone is designed for 945 CFM and is
operating at 845 CFM (89%) of design with the VVT damper full open. The damper was
calibrated at a lower CFM and then the set point was raised back up.
• Zone 221 serves the Hallway and Office Space. This zone is designed for 300 CFM and is
operating at 320 CFM (108%) of design.
• Zone 222 serves the Break Room and Office. This zone is designed for 375 CFM and is
operating at 600 CFM (63%) of design. with the VVT damper full open. The damper was
calibrated at a lower CFM and then the set point was raised back up.
Exhaust Fans
• EF-1 This unit is a constant volume exhaust fan that serves the Break Room. It is a single
inlet, direct drive fan with a speed controller that has been set to 220 CFM (110% of
design). The total design airflow is 200 CFM.
• TF-1 This unit is a constant volume exhaust fan that serves the Conference Room. It is a
single inlet, direct drive fan with a speed controller that has been set to 220 CFM (110% of
design). The total design airflow is 200 CFM.
