• Social cohesion promotes cooperative norms which positively effect knowledge sharing.

• Network range (ties across organizational, social boundaries) in a heterogeneous community eases sharing knowledge.

• South-South knowledge sharing requires integrating issue based approach w/ different mediums of sharing and learning .

• Network should facilitate transformation of information to knowledge
