Our art requirements have been updated to enhance and better merchandise your content to Netflix members. Images provided will be used within the Netflix service (including, without limitation, on all Netflix ready devices, through the website, User Interfaces, applications, blogs, social networking sites and our communications with members and potential members) and in marketing materials promoting the titles’ availability on Netflix. Note that the use cases in this document are only examples. Minor edits may apply.

STEP 1: You will receive an email invitation from Netflix to access a folder for your assets, for all applicable territories. If you do not have a Box.com account, you can create one for free.

STEP 2: Sign up for a Box.com account and log in. Recommend to use your work email to help you remember.

Box.com folders are available through Netflix’s Enterprise account for the secure delivery of assets.

STEP 4: Select Upload in the upper right-hand corner. Then in the drop-down menu select Bulk Upload to drag and drop assets (required if the assets are in folders).

Display Art shall represent the feature film or television series/collection. Art shall remove any extra elements such as a DVD logo, Now on DVD, Widescreen, Coming Soon, 3-DVD Set, On Blu-ray, etc. Art shall be two-dimensional and shall extend over the entire image area. Please do not include any borders or frames. All art must be provided in localized format (i.e., as it is marketed in the territory) including Title Treatment in each language in which the Title may be exhibited under the Agreement.

Stills provided shall be production stills that include the main actor(s) and clearly pertaining to the storyline of the feature film or television episode. PG imagery is preferred. Six Stills are recommended per feature or per television episode, but three images minimum are required. All images must be cleared for promotional use.

Story Art is a stylized, high-gloss, eye-catching image of the main character(s) in a scene/staged scene that depicts the theme of the movie/show, or artistic interpretations of a iconic scene or theme of title.

CHARACTER ART - USAGESUPPLY ON REQUEST ONLY

Character Art is required for every feature film or television series/collection (animated or live action) that is appropriate for children and families. Character Art shall contain at least one prominent character image per title. In the instances of “character duos” an image with both characters is preferred.

The character shall not be obstructed by text, objects or other characters and shall have a transparent background. The character’s stance, as well as colors, should be compelling and dynamic.
