This document identifies the Cisco network devices, IOS images, feature sets, and technology packages covered under the Networking Academy Maintenance program. This program entitles participants to download supported versions of Cisco software and enable advanced feature sets for the devices identified in this document for use with curricula labs.

There are tabs in this spreadsheet for each curriculum that contain a list of the devices and IOS images that can run the corresponding course labs. The curriculum tabs also list the amount of flash and RAM needed for each device and a list of commands that are not supported by some recommended IOS images. Since some legacy products will no longer meet lab requirements, these tabs are intended to help academies and instructors define what combination of legacy equipment is still a viable alternative.

The IOS listed for each device is linked to the Cisco web page where it can be downloaded. For best lab results, it is recommended that you install the IOS image listed for the curriculum. Selecting an alternate maintenance or minor release of the listed IOS image is acceptable, but variance from the listed feature set or major release is not allowed. Please refer to the NetAcad Maintenance IOS Download Guide, found on Academy Connection, for more information on the IOS image download policy.

The All Hardware Tab is a comprehensive list of hardware supported under the Networking Academy Maintenance Contract. If the hardware you have is not listed on this Tab, it is not covered under Networking Academy Maintenance.
