Nepro PVC Rigid Conduit and Duct Pipes
New Products Industries (Nepro) National Factory for Plastic pipes and fittings took the early initiative in 1969 of introducing uPVC pipes production to the Saudi Market, becoming the first Saudi local uPVC pipes manufacturer. From this pioneering achievement in the production of high quality PVC and cPVC pipes and fittings for water and sewerage distribution lines, Nepro has expanded its extruded product range to include PVC Ducts and Conduits for Electric and Telecommunication Installations generally acceptable for use in aboveground & underground applications for either concrete encased or direct burial.
NEPRO PVC ducts and Conduits meet the requirements prescribed by the following standards Organizations:
1) National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA-USA) 2) American Society for Testing & Material (ASTM) 3) Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO) 4) British Standards Conduit for Electrical Installation
Nepro PVC Ducts and Conduits Are subjected to strict quality control to ensure that only products that meet the standard are delivered to customers. NEPRO has a well-equipped laboratory capable of carrying out the required tests. It also maintains contact with local and overseas independent laboratories for conducting third party product testing and analysis. NEPRO quality activities start from selection and purchase of raw materials and equipment, through the manufacturing process, and finally to loading and delivery. NEPRO is currently adopting ISO 9002 quality system as the basic foundation for its quality management, certified & assessed by SASO registered firm.
NEPRO PVC Ducts and Conduits Are tested and approved by independent laboratory for UL-651 to meet the use with maximum 90 0C wire requirements.
NEPRO PVC ducts and Conduits Are available in 3 and 6-meter lengths. These can be supplied in plain or with bellied ends for solvent cement joint. Bends and fittings accessories for wire and cable protection systems are also available.
NEPRO PVC Ducts and Conduits Are quick and easy to install using commercially available solvent cements.
NEPRO PVC ducts and Conduits is Approved by the following Organizations: SAUDI ARAMCO, SCECO, ROYAL COMMISSION, MOPTT and several consulting Offices as well as various ministries etc. For further information please contact our technical staff at your nearest branch.

NEPRO PVC ducts and Conduits have the following Advantages:
Lightweight Easy to Install
Weight less than 1/5 as much as steel and half as much as aluminum. Means quick, easy installation, labor saving, and reduced total job time.
Non-Corrosive Since PVC can’t corrode and is not affected concrete additives, electrolysis, corrosive atmospheres, soils, salts or excessive humidity, Its service life under these conditions is far superior to that of other conduit materials.
Fire Resistant
PVC is a thermoplastic that inherently resists continuous combustion. It is classified as self-extinguishing when tested to ASTM D 635.
Non-Magnetic
PVC is nonmagnetic; thus it reduces voltage drop and minimizes power loss.
Reliable joint & Easy Pull Through
Installations with simple, fast, solvent cement joints, NEPRO PVC Conduit require no threading. Its smooth, uniform interior walls make wire pull through faster and easier.
Safety
PVC Conduit is nonconductive and non-sparking. PVC conduits eliminate the dangerous second point of contact and phase to ground faults.

MATERIAL PROPERTIES
NEPRO Rigid Conduits and fittings are made from PVC Polyvinyl Chloride plastic compounds which meets or exceeds the requirements of PVC Class 12454-B described in ASTM D-1784 and ASTM D 4396 specification as specified in NEMA standards TC-2, TC-6, TC-8. NEPRO PVC CONDUIT INSTALLATION UNDER CHANGING TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS.
A Constantly changing temperature at the Installation site with long runs involved requires Precautions against expansion. The chart indicates the expansion that can be expected at various temperatures. The coefficient of linear expansion of NEPRO Conduit 3.38x10-5 in/in/F0 Deg
When Nepro PVC conduit is encased in concrete it will only expand indirect proportion to the expansion rate of the concrete thus no expansion couplings are necessary in this application.
