Carey Goryl, CAE serves asExecutive Director of theAssociation of Staff Physician

Recruiters (ASPR). Previous to that, she served asCEO of the International Association of ForensicNurses (IAFN) for 10 years. She earned acertification from the American Society forAssociation Executives (ASAE) as a CertifiedAssociation Executive (CAE). In her full time rolewith ASPR she provides leadership andmanagement oversight for the association. Careyworks closely with the ASPR Board of Directors tofulfill their vision and mission within the context ofthe organization’s strategic plan and serves as aspokesperson for ASPR. Having earned herMaster’s degree in social work, Carey is an adeptlistener, coach, and facilitator. Early in her career—while working in a domestic violence shelter—Careylearned the power of advocacy and the value ofvolunteers which she brings with her to ASPR.
