SAFETY, WARNING AND DISCLAIMER !AceCore Trade thanks you for choosing a NEO aerial platform. The NEO has been designed with great care for details, structural design, airflow improvements, stiffness & vibration control. !We would like to point out that the NEO is not a toy and should be operated with care, as improper operation can cause serious personal injury and damage to property. The NEO should not be flown over or around people, power lines or any other aircrafts. It is important to check your aircraft components prior to every flight. Always maintain a safe distance from the aircraft upon operation. !A flight simulator is a good way to start building up experience, but cannot be a substitute real life training from a professional. Novice pilots should never fly without the supervision of an experienced pilot. !If you modify your NEO by adjusting settings linked to the flight control management system on the computer, please be sure always to remove your propellers first. !AceCore Technologies disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. AceCore Technologies does not assume any liability, whether direct or indirect, from the use of the NEO system. AceCore Technologies shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, contingent or consequential damages to persons or property caused by the NEO aircraft. In no event shall AceCore Technologies be liable for personal injury up to and including death. !It is your responsibility to perform a full system check of the NEO prior to each flight. It is your responsibility to learn how to safely operate the NEO and to adhere to all applicable rules and regulations that may apply in the country you operate. !Fly at your own risk.

TECHNICAL FOREWORD !Below are a few tips from the designers to aid in assembly, flight and maintenance of the NEO. NEO is designed to be a professional heavy lift multi-rotor helicopter. As such, it is very important to take your time and assemble with care. !Here are a few important tips in assembling the NEO: !- Always use thread locker on any screw going into either aluminum or steel. This will

ensure that the screws will not come loose even under the vibrations encountered in flight. We recommend using “Loc tite 222MS Low Strength Purple Thread locker”, as it is intended for the small screw sizes found on the NEO. It is important to use this product or similar strength screw retainer adhesive, as stronger variations, such as Green or Red Loc tite, are too strong for the small screw sizes used on the NEO and may make disassembly for repair/service impossible. !

- Always install the flight control system accordance with the manufacturers’ manual.

1. Attach 4 units 40mm aluminium spacers with the screw threat facing up to the bottom plate of the centerpiece using the M4x6mm Socket Head Button Scews as shown above.

2

2. Place 6 units 40mm aluminium spacers with the screw threat facing down to the bottom plate of the centerpiece and connect the retract bracket using the M4 lock nuts as shown above. !

NOTE: The logo of AceCore on the aluminum bracket determines the backside of your NEO.

P10

3

3. Place 4 socket set screws using loc tite.

4!The NEO core is now ready to integrate the electronics. !You can now position all your electronics in the centerpiece. !NOTE: ESC’s can be positioned in the core or arms. Placing them in the arms will generate more airflow. Depending on the cooling capabilities and quality of your ESC’s. Contact your ESC manufacturer for more information. !!If you have assembled all your electronics and wiring infrastructure in the centerpiece, you can proceed with step 4.

NOTE: The rubber protection rings (see image page 6) will determine your cabling to the electronic platform. Cables can only be put through the side and front holes of the top centerpiece. !4. Place the top centerpiece onto the aluminium M4

stands.

6

5. Place 3 rubber protection rings in the top centerpiece.

!

P12

7

6. Use four M4 lock nuts to secure the top centerpiece. !!

8

7. Place D-Lock system onto the socket set screws. !Make sure the open sides of the D-Lock system is facing the backside of the core. !You need to be able to slide a carbon battery tray in it.

!

P13

9

8. Place 4 aluminum stands M4 x 30mm onto the socket set screws with the screw threat facing up.

9. Place one aluminum stand M4x40mm and one aluminum stand M4 x 30mm into the top centerpiece as shown above. !

10

10. Place the carbon electronics platform over the aluminium stands and secure this with M4 lock nuts and use one M4 x 6 socket head button screw at the front.

!

P14

11

11. Slide the battery plate in the D-Lock system and make sure it glides smooth without making contact with any cables or electronic components. !

TIP. keep your main power cables as short as possible (15-20mm wire length is perfect). This is more convenient closing your protection dome.

12

12. Connect the hinge with 2 blind rivets to the bottom centerpiece. (pre bored holes).

!

P15

13

13. Place the protection dome over the core and connect this with two blind rivets to the hinge. !

Be sure the protection dome can rotate all the way foreward in order to remove the battery plate from the D-Lock system.

14

14. The assembly of the Neo core is completed.

1. Secure the aluminium motor offset to the motor with the M3x8mm flat head hex screws. Repeat for all the motors. !

IMPORTANT! - Use loc tite in this procedure. - Never thighten screws too tight. When the carbon bends you have permanently damaged the carbon structure and could affect degeneration on longer term.

2

2. Place the aluminium motor offset in the arm. It should position perfectly onto the steel offset fixed in the arms.

3. Screw the M4x16mm flanged socket head button screw into the aluminium motor offset using the screw thread of M4 locknuts. Repeat this step for all the arms.

4. The holes crossed on the arms are for the ducts. Screw 2 M4x16 flanged socket head button screw to close holes the arm.

!

P25

3

5. Connect all motor cables to each other and connect the LED connector.

6. Slide the arm to the NEO core. Remember that the WHITE LED (recognized as “yellow” look when off) is front and BLUE LED (recognized as “transparant” look when off) is rear. And position the pre drilled holes exactly over the core pre bored holes.

7. Secure with M5x50mm flanged socket head button screw and M5 lock nut.

4

8. Connect the other arms to the core. 9. Secure each arm with the M5x50mm flanged socket

head button screw and M5 lock nut. !ADVISE Use a torque wrench and tighten up to 1.2Nm. Then apply this for all critical components.

!

P26
