Our journey began in 1987, when Joseph Hardy, Founder

of 84 Lumber Company, purchased 550-acres of the

Nemacolin property at an auction. The vision was to

Quarters are an excellent location for families, friends and

corporate groups who choose a more secluded setting

for their Nemacolin stay. Each include a full-kitchen,

surrounded by incredible American history including Fort

Necessity, which was the opening action of the French

and Indian War, General Braddock’s Grave and the historic

RT 40 (or National Road) which was blazed by Chief

Aqueous takes the upscale steakhouse concept to an

THE SHOOTING ACADEMY

Featuring 35 sporting clay stations spread across two

courses, towers and two fi ve-stand pavilions, the course

can be tailored to challenge everyone from the most

seasoned wing shooter to the novice shooter. First time

shooters are guaranteed to break targets with the help of

our National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) certifi ed

instructors. With private lessons for both beginners and

advanced shooters, clay shooting is a sport for the whole
