EDFN 313 Problems, Issues, and Practices in Education 3 READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: →If you are in an Undergraduate or TLP Program, and would like ANY middle school endorsement, you MUST
complete EDFN 313 (with the exception of the MLED & K‐12 programs). →If you are in an MAT Program, the MLED Program, or a K‐12 program you DO NOT need to complete EDFN 313. → If you are seeking either the Bilingual or ESL Endorsement, you DO NOT need to take EDFN 313. → For each middle school endorsement, 18 credit hours in the specific area are required. A grade of 'C' or
better must be earned. Refer to the section on "Middle School Endorsement Areas" for acceptable coursework for each endorsement you are seeking to obtain.
→ If you are a BLBC program major, you must take TESL 301 to add the ESL endorsement. → Make a COPY of ALL transcripts. This includes NEIU AND any transfer transcripts. Any coursework that is to
be considered for an endorsement must be listed on a transcript from the school in which it was earned. → Complete a table for each endorsement you are seeking on the College of Education Endorsement Worksheet → Complete the top portion of this form. Attach it, along with your College of Education Endorsement Worksheet,
and a copy of your transcript(s), with classes highlighted that you would like to count towards the endorsement and submit to the College of Education Dean's Office (LWH 4044) during the semester in which you are plan to complete your program. Please adhere to the submission deadlines listed below:
