Currently I am employed as a Cluster Manager for Travelodge overseeing sites across Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex. Responsible for standards within rooms and with an overview of the complete operation, working closely with Hotel Managers and the Hotel teams, the cluster has performed extremely well and has become top cluster in the company in the two key measures of payroll control and clean and fresh scores. I joined Travelodge in July 2012 as Hotel Manager and successfully managed Travelodge Portsmouth from a low achieving Hotel to high, with excellent customer measures and cost controls. With the aid of my team we have turned Portsmouth, known as a problem site, to a stable well respected hotel within Travelodge, also we have achieved a place within the top 10 EBITDA. Whilst I was in this role I took on an assistant District Manager role, whilst still managing Portsmouth Travelodge, I was also given extra responsibility with ER/HR issues across the district and have become a Senior Hotel Manager. I have trained many new managers, I was then promoted to the field based role of Cluster Manager. 1

PROFILE

I am an experienced single and multi-site manager experienced in hospitality and retail.

With my previous employer Game group LTD, I gained 3 years’ experience in a District Manager’s role with overall responsibility for stores, team members, customer service, store standards, budgets and KPI’S, staff management progression training, new store manager training and store visits. I managed one of the company’s flagship stores in Castle Point Bournemouth and managed a group of 6 stores in Dorset with continued excellent results. In 2010 I gained the company’s highest accolade of having the Portsmouth store signed off as a Centre of excellence, I then was promoted to Castle Point and had this flag ship store signed off as a centre of excellence.

My previous employer prior to Game was Robert Dyas, I continually gained promotion moving to different towns and to larger stores, so that I was managing one of the highest turnover stores on the company with excellent KPI results. As I gained the highest position of store management possible with Robert Dyas I left to join Game Group in 2009 as a District Manager. My employer previous to Robert Dyas was with Brewers Decorating
