Bringing Up the Subject
Only you know the folks that you want to include in the conversation. Find an appropriate way of approaching them.
Here are some suggestions:
“I need your Help with something”“I was thinking about what happened when Uncle Joe passed”“I need to think about the future, will you help me?”“I’m OK now, but I’m concerned about what happens if I get sick”
The Conversation is NOT just about Legal Documents
• It is about OUR wishes and values
• It is about family, friends, and loved ones and their understanding and commitment to carry out your end- of -life wishes• It may result in important documents
