Navigators are individuals who have been trained and certified to help you browse healthcare coverage options, complete a health insurance application, and enroll in affordable coverage.

1 Where do I meet with a Navigator? Navigators work at community agencies and health centers throughout Rhode Island, and will meet with you one-on-one, in-person to offer assistance.

1 What does it cost to see a Navigator? Nothing! Navigators will help you for free.

1 Do Navigators speak my language? This directory identifies agencies with on-site Navigators who are fluent in languages other than English. Interpreter services can be arranged for anyone who needs assistance in other languages.

1 Will the Navigator tell me which plan to choose? No. Navigators must provide unbiased assistance. This means they can’t tell you what to do or how to decide. The choice is entirely up to you.

1 Do I need to make an appointment with a Navigator? Some Navigators require appointments, and some see people on a walk-in basis. Please call ahead to find out if you’ll need to make an appointment!
