With Breaking Bad being so popular in America and England, he was the best person for the lead part. During the interview they also show the trailer, showing the races and the crashes. On Top Gear you also get to see Aaron

drive round the track, almost seeing him in character. His appearance on Top Gear was a really good way to promote the film to its target audience.

Paul also made an appearance on the Graham Norton Show. This wasn't focused on Aaron and Need for Speed as there were other guests, however, they did discuss it and the release date.

This was a general interview for all audiences, widening the promotion for the film. It was entertaining, but

spoke about Breaking Bad which fans of that could relate to. This was a good way for people who aren't the target audience to see the promotion of the film and to know Paul was starring in it. Showing the trailer throughout the interview gives the audience a preview of the film they are discussing.

Need for Speed was originally a game. This game has its own target audience. Teenage males. From this, the film has taken the same target audience and more. The more being fans of the game and fans of stars in the film.

Turning the game into a film could be good for promotion, however, if fans of the game might not enjoy the film because it isn't exactly like the game. Which, has been proven by some reviews. Usually the films are the ones turned into a game, to help promote the film, however, for the film, it might help encourage people to watch it. This film has done well to promote itself to its target audience and to others.
