1. This manual is suitable only for: software - NEC Key Prog v.11 or above hardware - MB Key Prog Evo
2. NEC Key Prog v.11 (or above) allows to program new keys only when there’s already one key working in a car, this process can be done only when there’s a software firmware 51 or 57 in the key
IR key allows to read information from the ignition lock in cars: A-class W169 2004-2010 B-class W245 2005-2010 C-class W203 2003-2007 CLK-class W208 2001-2002 CLK-class W209 2003-2008 C-class W204 2007-2009 E-class W210 2001-2002 E-class W211 2002-2007 E-class W212 2009-2010 CLS-Class W219 2004-2009 S-class W220 2001-2005 S-class W221 2005-2009 CL W215 2001-2006 CL W216 2005-2009 SL R230 2001-2009 SLK R171 2004-2009 G-class W463 2002-2009 R-class W251 2005-2009 M-class W164 2005-2009 GL-class X164 2006-2009 Vito/Viano W639 2004-2009 Sprinter W906 2005-2009 * There are same models released after 2001 and mentioned above that might be equipped with a key firm-ware 51 or 57, you can always check existing key with NEC Key Prog software and if firmware is suitable, you can add one more key
3. Here below you can find pictures of keys that are equipped with firmware 51 or 57.

1. Check original key firmware version, with the use of NEC Key Programmer, with the use of IR port. Firmware version should be 51 or 57
2. Go with your laptop to car and run IR TOOLS software.
3. Connect IR Key to your laptop USB port, and then insert IR Key into igniotion

4. Read ignition with use of IR Key, press ‚Go!’ button.
5. Save read information on your hard drive.

6. Disasemble original key, open it and desolder NEC microprocessor.
7. Read NEC microprocessor with a use of standard PCB delivered with every MB Key Prog 2 EVO
8. Run software NEC Key Programmer v.119. Run ‚Read Soft’ option

10. Read NEC microprocessor
11. Save read values on your hard drive (in the same folder, that was used to save values read from ignition lock)

Attention! Before starting to work with MB Key O�ine You need to unpack the �le Data_new.rar(it is on the supplied USB drive) to the same folder where is the NEC11 program. Then, in the MB Key O�ine click on the "Date" and indicate the unpacked Data_new.bin �le. Only now, the program will work properly.

13. Load saved values of the ignition lock.
14. Load saved values read from NEC microprocessor.
15. Choose which keys you’d like to calculate.

16. Calculate keys.
17. All calculated keys are automatically saved in a folder that was used by you before.
18. You can program (write) new keys with a use of IR port in MB Key Prog2/ MB Key Prog2 EVO or you can program new original keys with use of NEC IC socket or NEC PCB.
It usually takes about 4-5 seconds to calculate one key
