Multiple Sources: Multiple Perspectives Description: Providing students with multiple sources for information and description of the same event gives them an excellent opportunity to see how and event can be viewed in many ways. Procedure: All students began the study by searching their textbook. Each student then examines several supplemental sources related to letters, historical texts, and chronologies of important events in history. Give students the opportunity to build background knowledge for their study. Students should be able to compare/contrast information and question how conflicting information could be presented on the same event.
Sources Factual Information How Do the Perspectives Differ?
