INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS
Welcome to your oral interview. Relax and choose a topic about which you will enjoy speaking. To do this, please follow these easy steps. Good Luck!
Before the interview you should ensure that you
select one of the FIVE (5) topics provided. study it carefully as you will be asked a number of questions on the selected topic. review the scoring guide.
During your interview, you should ensure that you
understand the questions
speak fluently and at the right volume
use Standard English
express your ideas clearly
use appropriate vocabulary
are not afraid to ask questions or to clarify questions that you are asked.
Your interview should last between five and ten minutes.
