Geographically located between Japan and Philippines along the west rim of the Pacific Ocean, Taiwan is celebrated for its stunning vibrancy both in industrial innovation and in daily life. Taiwan ranked 8th in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook, 2010 (IMD: Institute for Management Development, Switzerland). It is also one of the leading e-societies in the Asia-Pacific region. These industrial achievements have been highly associated with a distinctive culture comprising of a wide array of Chinese and indigenous elements. The NCHU is pleased to share cultural beauty of Taiwan with its partner-university students. To this end, NCHU's summer program offers a series of lingual and cultural courses, such as Chinese language, martial art, calligraphy, and field trips to visit Architecture of Taoism and Buddhist Temples, etc. NCHU earnestly invites you to join this cultural discovery trip.
