The North Carolina Independent Living Rehabilitation Program (ILRP) may be able to help. The ILRP staff is committed to helping you define your vision and choose your path toward an independent life.

Your PathYour path toward greater independence begins with you. Our staff will partner with you to develop your goals and identify your path. Assistance may include:

Moving from a nursing home or an assisted-living facility to the community

Modifying your home or vehicle to meet your individual needs

Accessible housing information and referrals

Purchase of medical equipment and assistive devices

Guidance and counseling

Developing your employment goals

Personal assistance services

Your LifeOur staff is dedicated to maximizing the independence of North Carolinians living with disabilities. We will support you in managing your life and becoming more independent in your home and in the life of your family and community.

You may be eligible for ILRP services if you have a disability and our services can improve your independence. If you are determined eligible, the provision of services will take into consideration your financial resources.
