• JM: produce plot for CIP showing ground obs sites (radiosondes, MST, Chilbolton, other profilers – UK, Iceland and Canada)

• JM: Discuss with Nina Petersen (Iceland Met Office) about involvement in daily general meeting (and/or forecast planning discussion) and decisions on additional ground‐based obs. Also, contribution to local forecasting for aircraft operation.

• JM: ask Nina about office possibilities and accommodation near Keflavik.• JM: Leeds/NCAS observations to South of Iceland – ask Geraint. • JM: Ask Met Office about possibilities for :

• NAT track forecasts• Forecasts of cloud top height• Radiosonde commitment• MODE‐S wind coverage

• JM: Contributions to CIP – EUFAR proposal flight plans plus circuits to deduce area‐average divergence and vorticity from obs.

• JM: Contact DAOS WG about additional satellite obs during NAWDEX experiment and scientific interest by them.

• JM: Update Polar PP on NAWDEX plans and possibility of relevant science for PPP.

• AS+steering group: Create matrix of science objectives and prioritisation (include the RS calibration work).

• AS: Check access  to satellite position data for underpasses in advance (with local time). Will be part of table to discuss with instrument scientists.

on met measurements (T, u, v, RH) from French Falcon and also turbulence probe.• JD:Make contact with SHOUT programme and make case added value to SHOUT 

of linking with NAWDEX. For example, in deciding dropsonde locations (e.g., within WCB affecting ridge over Atlantic).

• Mech: Look into temperature retrievals from HAMP radiometers and vertical resolution that can be achieved. Also, linking curtain observations with intermittent radiosondes with higher vertical resolution.
