Dilator Tip Flexibility
Improved Coating
The Navigator HD Ureteral Access Sheath retains the characteristics of the flexible tip of the current Navigator Ureteral Access Sheath, while still providing a stiffer shaft for ease of placement.
The hydrophilic coating on both Navigator HD Ureteral Access Sheath and dilator show an improved coefficient of friction and an improved durability over Navigator Ureteral Access Sheath and Cook Flexor™ Ureteral Access Sheath after undergoing 20 cycles of placement through a tight simulated stricture.

Hub Design
The Navigator™ HD Ureteral Access Sheath requires less force to insert through a simulated stricture when compared to Navigator Ureteral Access Sheath and to Cook Flexor™ Ureteral Access Sheath, indicating a smoother transition from guidewire to dilator and from dilator to sheath.
One handed latch engagement: The Navigator HD Sheath can be successfully assembled with the dilator in almost any rotation relative to the sheath hub vs Cook Flexor Sheath can only be successfully assembled when the dilator is aligned rotationally with the sheath hub.
