Approval Training

To access NMCP Request for Publication/Presentation Approval (RPPA) Training on SWANK

follow the steps below. Screen shots are provided for your convenience:

Go to SWANK as you usually would or click on this link https://navy.swankhealth.com/ . Enter

the appropriate logon information (i.e., location, CAC Number, and Password) fields in the Log-

on Page (see below).

Once logged on click on “Course List” and you should get this screen (see below):

Click on the “Mandatory Training” link under the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth – Courses

heading (see below).

Find the “NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER PORTSMOUTH 2017 PUBLICATION APPROVAL

PROCESS” link. Click of the “View Course” link (see below).

View the module and take the posttest (see below):

Select “Click here to view” (see below). View the 14 slide PPT presentation.

Return to the previous screen and take the Assessment by selecting “Test” (see below):

Answer all ten questions (see below):

Click on “My Completed Courses” from the Main Menu. You can then scroll down to “Naval

Medical Center Portsmouth - Courses” and view your completion certificate for Publication

Approval Process. This can be saved or printed for your records.
