NAVAL ARCHITECTURE AND MARINE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarship Information The Propeller Club of the United States, Port of New Orleans Scholarship is awarded bi-annually to a deserving student of the University of New Orleans' School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Its purpose is to promote, further and support an American Merchant Marine to aid the development of river, great lakes and harbor improvements. The award is supported by the Propeller Club, Port of New Orleans, Women's Organization of the Propeller Club, Port of New Orleans, and the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Steering Committee.

Criteria: Qualified Applicants are undergraduate students of the University of New Orleans' School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Previous recipients are ineligible. Management of the Scholarship is overseen by the "Scholarship Committee" of the Port of New Orleans Propeller Club. Award: $1000.00 is awarded each Spring and Fall. Spring Scholarship Application Deadline: April 1st Fall Scholarship Application Deadline: September 15th The Scholarship Fund is supported by contributions from the Port of New Orleans Propeller Club and its members, local businesses, and private donations.
