The Venues Both Lehele Lodge and the Kwena Lodge offer elegant, contemporary bush décor and panoramic views of the magnificent 11,000-hectare Fynbos and Big 5 reserve and are ideal for many types of weddings and private functions.

Lehele LodgeWith its cool organic style and warm African flavours, Lehele Lodge is comprised of interconnected dining, reception, lounge and bar areas all leading out to expansive outdoor decks overlooking an infinity pool, party boma and a waterhole

Ceremony: Can be held at the outdoor infinity pool area or on the view deck with tent if needed or elsewhere in the reserve.Cocktail Hour: Can be outdoors on the deck or indoors in lounge/bar area.Dance floor: Set up in lounge area with bar and space for a DJ or band.Dining: Seats 75 guests indoors and up to 100 including the outdoor adjacent deck. Up to 300 guests can enjoy the space cocktail style.

Kwena LodgeGondwana’s new Kwena Lodge can be taken over exclusively for you and your guests. This Five star lodge offers 14 spacious deluxe rooms all with en suite open plan bathrooms, skylights above the beds for star gazing, clay pot fireplaces and traditional Khoi san inspired decor with a modern and luxurious twist. The stand alone “huts” overlook 2 popular waterholes, frequented by several species including the elephant and lion, and are all landscaped to ensure ultimate privacy.

The lodge facilities include three separate spaces connected by natural pathways including a chic open-plan lounge and bar, an elegant and romantic dining room around 2 open fireplaces, a reception area, spa treatment room, large infinity pool area and outdoor boma all overlooking the Outeniqua Mountains.

Guest AccommodationThe reserve provides exclusive, five star accommodation in either stand alone suites or 3 bedroom private bush villas and can accommodate over 100 guests sharing all with en-suite bathrooms in total luxury. Multiple packages are available for your guests from full weekend itineraries including a bush braai, game drive and gourmet meals to bed and breakfast or self-catering options. Numerous activities are on offer to keep your guests entertained including game drives with expert field guides, bush walks, fishing, spa treatments, and mountain biking or horse safaris.

• Kwena Lodge offers 14 deluxe, stand-alone rooms with 180-degree views of the breathtaking mountain scenery and nearby waterhole frequented by elephant and lion. The open plan design provides central skylights for star gazing, clay pot fireplaces and deep baths to keep you warm after an evening’s game drive. • Gondwana’s Fynbos Villas offer spacious and elegantly appointed accommodation ideal for families or groups each with open plan design, 3 en-suite bedrooms, kitchen, TV and large, outdoor decks.

Bush Weddings For the ultimate bush wedding your ceremony and reception can be situated in the reserve using Bedouin tents overlooking the mountains and wildlife.

The LocationThe reserve is accessibly located a four hour drive from Cape Town or 45 minutes from George airport with transfers to the game reserve provided and numerous daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town international airports making it easily accessible for local and international guests. Despite its location only 15 minutes off the N2, once on the reserve, it is as if you are in the middle of nowhere with endless mountain views and green rolling hills blanketed in colourful Fynbos vegetation. On Gondwana’s doorstep are 2 seaside championship golf courses, lovely beaches ideal for surfing and swimming as well as the Mossel Bay Harbour where deep sea fishing, sunset cruises and shark cage diving is offered.
