Help clean-up your park along Tomahawk Creek in this “feel good” event.

We will provide trash bags, gloves and snacks/drinks for this volunteer effort. Meet at Tomahawk Park, 119th and Mission Road (south side of 119th St.)

You will be assigned a starting time from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and an area from City Park south to I-Lan Park along Tomahawk Creek for your group. You must provide adequate supervision for the children you bring.

Kansas City’s Passport to Adventure is a great way for area residents to experience nature, science and history in their own backyard during the Passport period, which

runs between April 11 through October 31, 2015.

The Leawood Kiwanis Club will be serving a hot dog lunch (hot dog $2, chips $1, and drink $1). Lunch will be served from

11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Lion’s Shelter in City Park.
