1/2 Natural gas filter „FYG” type July 2011 NATURAL GAS FILTER „FYG” TYPE APPLICATION: The natural gas filters FYG type are used to filtrate natural gas in the medium and low pressure installations . E&P = Exploration & Production T = Transportation S = Storage D = Distribution CONSTRUCTION: The body and top of the filter are made of cast iron. The filtering cartridge is manufactured from sieve for finesses of 160μm and viledon sieve for finesses of 10 μm. According to the connection it is manufactured in two types: - thread connection for D N ≤ 32 mm - flanged connection for D N > 32 mm OPERATING PRINCIPLE: The gas enters the filter’s body through the inlet connection, passes through the filtering cartridge which retains the particles existing in the gas flow, then exits the filter through the outlet connection. APPLICATION: The natural gas filters FYG type are used to filtrate natural gas in the medium and low pressure installations .
