NATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION TRIANGULAR PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME (NATPP)
CORRUPTION REPORTING FORM (CRF)
NATPP 2005 Annual Progress Report

Introduction
Prompted by rampant corruption in the country, the Government of Tanzania had
since 2000 developed and supported implementation of the National Anti-Corruption
Strategy and Action Plans (NACSAP)∗. By design, NACSAP has entry point for the
corporate and civil society sectors to participate in its implementation. Given such
overture the Concern for Development Initiatives in Africa (ForDIA), had since 2004
developed the NACSAP Triangular Partnership Programme (NATPP) for supporting
such government endeavours.
Moreover, ForDIA is collaborating with the Feminist Activism (FemAct) coalition, the
Prevention of Corruption Bureau (PCB) and the Good Governance Coordination Unit
(GGCU) to implement NATPP.
NATPP has the goal of coordinating stakeholders’ efforts directed to combat
corruption in Tanzania. The programme is a nationwide corruption reporting network
mechanism in which all Tanzanians are facilitated to voluntarily offer information and
data about acts of corruption and/or unethical practices.
The framework of coordination is that information and data about acts of corruption
and unethical governance practices are collected from the Lake, Northern, Western,
Eastern, Southern Highland, Southern and Central Zones. Technical backup and
national level coordination of NATPP is done at ForDIA headquarters – Dar es
Salaam.
Information collected from each zone is analyzed and then presented to GGCU,
Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRGG), PCB and the
Secretariat of National Leaders’ Ethics for follow-up and appropriate measures.
This tool is available and can be collected from NATPP Zonal Committees, Regional
Press Clubs, ForDIA website: http://www.fordia.or.tz, Tanzania online website:
