Course OverviewNativeAccent is web-delivered software from Carnegie Speech Company, Pittsburgh, USA. NativeAccent is enterprise software for testing & improving English speaking skills for non-native speakers.

Speak English intelligibly in less training time.

NativeAccent from Carnegie Speech uses patented pinpointing technology that exactly identifies student’s speech errors and gives specific remediation instructions. Differences between student’s native language and English are used to effectively teach pronunciation, word stress, grammar, and speaking fluency. The intelligent tutor customizes the curriculum based on student first-language, gender and current English proficiency. Objective assessment and reporting motivates student progress and informs instructors and managers.

Your personal English tutor is here!!!

NativeAccent accesses student’s spoken English skills through an assessment. Assessment is a set of 89 exercises. Students record the assessment items using the provided interface. NativeAccent analyses pronunciation, word stress, fluency and grammar of the student and provides an objective assessment of the competency levels in each of the areas.

Intelligent tutor provides a customized lesson plan for each student based on the assessment and the competency levels. Thus, NativeAccent makes learning very personal to individuals learning needs.

Training for 10-20 hours on the software makes an individual master the elements of language that he/she is not good at ensuring a minimum of 100% improvement.

This Student Manual provides a complete insight into how to use the software and get maximum benefit of your investment in the software.

Student RegistrationIf your school or employer has purchased an institutional license, you will be provided with a username and password and a web link to the Student Roadmap which provides summary support materials. This information will be provided by your teacher or trainer.

If you have purchased NativeAccent directly from the Carnegie Speech website, you will receive an email with your login information and a web link to the student roadmap.
