• Students will be introduced to the Native American Culture in general.

• Students will learn why the Native Americans place so much emphasis on clothing, beads, and jewelry.

• Students will create their own beaded necklaces and explain why it is symbolic to them.

• Students will learn about the Native American ceremonies and dances and discuss why they are important to the natives.

• Students will talk about the meaning of the dominant five colors that the Native Americans use: red, white, black, green, and yellow. Students will be able to paint their faces using these colors.
