INDUSTRY 4.0
manufacturing by leveraging its economic strength. Vadodara's economy is driven by the chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industries. To become self-reliant, there is an imperative need for the manufacturers to maximize production without compromising on quality and by lowering manufacturing time and cost to make Indian products globally competitive. Since welding is critical technique used in most engineering manufacturing processes, the welding industry is also poised for a vibrant change to introduce high productive welding processes, cost effective design, reliable quality control methods and utilize current automation technologies.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution (or Industry 4.0) is the current trend in automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology. Large-scale machine-to-machine communication (M2M) and the internet of things (IoT) are integrated for increased automation, improved communication and self-monitoring creating the “smart factory”.
System, Vibrant Demography & Demand. The focal point of the concept is to make the nation self-reliant with more focus on local manufacturers and service providers. This will strengthen the economy, making the country self-reliant in all spheres- from manufacturing to supplying. It will help the country to reduce its dependence on imports and may also give a boost to exports. The growth in the economy of the country has attracted several players across the globe and India is poised for multifold growth in the area.
Gujarat is one of the fastest growing states in India in terms of business and investment. Vadodara is also set to become an innovative hub for
