It is applicable to all types and sizes of organisations irrespective of geographical, cultural or social improving an energy management system, whose purpose is to enable an organization to follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of energy performance, including energy demonstrate that a plant or company has sustainable EnMS in place, has completed a baseline of energy use, and has committed to continuously improve energy performance. The standard aims to help organizations continually optimise their energy use, and therefore their energy costs and their greenhouse gas emissions. At the end of the program, participants will be able to: • Understand the purpose and role of an Energy Management System • Interpret the ISO50001:201 1 EnMS requirements as stipulated in the standard • Determine the required processes for an organization to becom 1 • Identify the documented information needed to implement the ISO 50001:201 1 • Develop a project plan with timeline and resources needed for implementation of ISO 50001:2011 • Prioritise the opportunities for energy performance improvement Target Group The target audience of this course includes Property and Maintenance Managers, Engineers, Factory consultants, Energy auditors, and other interest professionals that need to enhance their skills and competencies in Energy Management Systems.
