ADMISSION TO THE FOLLOWING COURSES FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2018-19 COMMENCING FROM JULY 2018
A. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN ASSOCIATESHIP OF NATIONAL SUGAR INSTITUTE IN SUGAR
TECHNOLOGY :
Minimum Qualification:- B.Sc. with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Duration:- Two and half
academic years. Total number of seats: 69.
B. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN ASSOCIATESHIP OF NATIONAL SUGAR INSTITUTE IN SUGAR
ENGINEERING : Minimum Qualification:-Bachelor’s Degree or AMIE (From the Institution of Engineers, India) in Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical/ Electrical &
Electronics
Duration:- One and half academic years. Total number of seats: 28.
C. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN INDUSTRIAL FERMENTATION AND ALCOHOL TECHNOLOGY: Minimum Qualification:- B.Sc. with Chemistry/Applied Chem./ Industrial Chem. or Biochemistry as one of subject or B. Tech. in Bio-Technology
/B. Tech. in Chemical Engg. or B. Tech. in Bio-Chemical Engg. as one of subject .
Duration:- One academic year and 4 months practical training in a distillery or brewery. Total number of seats: 28
D. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN SUGARCANE PRODUCTIVITY & MATURITY MANAGEMENT Minimum Qualification:- B.Sc.(Graduate) in Science / Agriculture.
Duration: One Year. Total number of seats: 18.
E. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTATION & PROCESS AUTOMATION: Minimum Qualification:- B.E./B. Tech. Degree in Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics/
Applied Electronics & Instrumentation /B. Tech. Degree in Electronics & Communication or B. Tech Degree in Instrumentation & Control from a
recognized Technical Institute/University/ College etc. .
Duration:- One Year. Total number of seats: 15.
F. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN QUALITY CONTROL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE : Minimum Qualification:- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Zoology, Botany, Chemistry / B.Sc. with Environmental
Science/B.Sc. (Bio-Technology) / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology). Duration:- One Year. Total number of seats: 15.
G. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SUGAR ENGINEERING: Minimum Qualification:- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Production/ Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from a recognized Technical
Institute/Polytechnic/University .
Duration:-Two Off- seasons (July- November). Total number of seats: 15.
H. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN QUALITY CONTROL: Minimum Qualification:- 12
th Standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Duration:-Four months (July-October). Total number of seats: 15.
I. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SUGAR BOILING: Minimum Qualification:- Matriculate / High School with Science / Agriculture.
Exp: One season (of minimum 90 days) experience of pan-operation in a vacuum pan sugar factory along with nomination.
Duration:-One off-season (July – November) followed by five months practical training from December to April in a Sugar factory. Total number of
seats: 57.
AGE LIMIT: Not more than 35 years as on 01.07.2018 for all above courses.

Employment News and on our website.
EXAMINATION CENTRES:- The written examination shall be conducted at Six centers namely at CHENNAI, DELHI, KANPUR, KOLKATA, PATNA
& PUNE.
Admission in all courses on the basis merit of written entrance examination to
be held on 10th June 2018
