SUNDAY Kiva Oakland Pledge Drive ALL DAY Online at www.Kiva.org/OaklandJoin in the citywide push, spearheaded by Mayor Libby Schaaf, to crowdsource 0% interest loans that will enable hundreds of Oakland’s small businesses to grow and thrive. Browse through small business owners' profiles and choose who you want to help. Individual loans of $25 or more are collected until the borrower’s full loan request is “crowdfunded.” As the entrepreneur repays, lenders can relend that same money to another person or withdraw their money and put it back in their pocket.

During Sunday's Pledge Drive, your loan amount will be matched by the City of Oakland, Main Street Launch, Capital One and the Miller Family Foundation, up to $225,000.
