NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK 2019

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is dedicated as a time for all Australians to consider the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Acknowledging the history of Indigenous Australia, pre- and post-colonisation, is essential to our reconciliation journey.
The 2019 NRW theme is, ‘Grounded in Truth Walk Together with Courage’.
Cumberland Council is joining the NRW celebrations by hosting the following local events, aiming to increase understanding within our community.
