Encourage your promising musicians to experience the inspiring sounds of a full symphony orchestra. Let them be guided by experts and, in the company of their peers, encourage them to enjoy the vibrant and invigorating atmosphere of shared music-making.

Two courses, with both residential and non-residential options, will be held at Wellington College, Berkshire, from 16th to 22nd July:

• The Symphony Orchestra Course is aimed at giving more experienced young instrumentalists the opportunity to play great music from the

• symphonic repertoire under the guidance of professional tutors. • The conductor will be Adrian Lucas who, as Artistic Director of the

Worcester Three Choirs Festival, has worked with such orchestras as the Philharmonia and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

• The Training Orchestra Course is aimed at young and enthusiastic • instrumentalists who are keen to broaden their musical experience. • Making music together in such large numbers and at a high standard of

preparation can be exhilarating, inspiring and just plain good fun. The • conductor will be Peter Davis, director of the National Preparatory School

Orchestras.

ACTIVITIES

A full range of activities will be organised during the week for everyone to enjoy. Wellington’s many indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, including the superbly equipped and fully staffed sports centre with an indoor swimming pool, will be available.
