with your expert naturalist guide
After flying to Anchorage via Juneau, your private driver will transport you to your
next hotel via one of the most spectacular highways anywhere—but not before a
very special stop at Happy Trails Kennels, world famous for their championship sled
dogs. Later, wander through the quaint town of Talkeetna. Accommodations are at
Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, in a Mountainside Room.

Boat into the waterways of Glacier Bay National Park and watch as tidewater glaciers
calve in front of you. Keep alert for rookeries full of puffins, scan the rock formations
for mountain goats and brown bears, and pass by Marble Island and its resident sea

Explore the wonders of Denali’s wilderness from your rustic retreat in the heart of the
Park. Choose from guided hikes and naturalist-led wildlife viewing excursions, mountain
biking, fly fishing, and panning for gold. Accommodations are at Denali Backcountry
Lodge, in a Creekside Cabin.
Travel to Denali National Park | Explore Denali National Park
A private transfer will deliver you to the Denali National Park entrance, where you will
board the Denali Backcountry Adventure bus for a wildlife tour that will take you
90 miles into the Park. Watch for black bear, grizzly, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolf,
and wolverine. Accommodations are at Denali Backcountry Lodge, in a Creekside
Cabin.

observation deck, you’ll soak up views of tundra, deep river canyons, and mountains—including

Situated on the tranquil shores of Gustavus, the Inn offers very
comfortable accommodations, scrumptious meals, and true Alaskan
hospitality—all with Glacier Bay National Park as a backdrop. The
Inn’s hand-crafted log construction incorporates 14 spacious guest
rooms, each with private baths and two queen size beds. The lobby
is the focal point, with 30-foot ceilings and inspiring views of streams,
wildlife, mountains, forests, meadows, and Icy Strait. The family-style
dining room features local specialties. If relaxation is your goal, this is
the place to achieve it!
Set on a ridge above the small community of Talkeetna on the south
side of Denali, the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge offers unforgettable
views of Denali and the Alaska Range. The 212 guest rooms
are complemented by two restaurants, a bar, a business center, and
a spacious lobby featuring a 46-foot river rock fireplace. The seasonal,
four-diamond property, which is located two and a half hours north of
Anchorage, rests on 35 acres and comprises eight buildings: a main
lodge, five guest lodges, employee housing, and a maintenance facility.

This Alaskan lodge offers a variety of unique
cabins, varying in size and bed type.
Bay or mountainArguably the only luxury hotel in Anchorage, and boasting downtown’s
only four-diamond restaurant, the Captain Cook offers top service and
accommodations for international travelers. Three restaurants, an
athletic club, and a full business center complement the 547 guest
rooms. Perhaps the best features of the centrally-located hotel are
its panoramic views of Cook Inlet, the Chugach Mountains, the
Anchorage cityscape, and Denali.

Denali Backcountry Lodge offers guests the unique opportunity to
base themselves deep in the heart of majestic Denali National Park
& Preserve. Located at the very end of the Denali Park road, past
Wonder Lake in the enclave known as Kantishna, the full-service
lodge comprises 42 clean and cozy cedar cabins with private baths,
as well as dining and lounge areas in the spacious two-story lodge.
The “program lodge” hosts special natural history presentations by
staff members as well as featured guest speakers. Hearty dinners
are served family style in the lodge dining room.
