The Easter Bunny will be visiting
Storytime April 12 and 13! There is a
good chance that he will be hiding some
eggs for the kids to find! Be sure to join
us on Wednesday or Thursday at 10:30!
Edward S. Curtis Display
Plan to visit the library to see part of the Edward S. Curtis collection
of Native American photos on loan from the Buffalo
Bill Center of the West now through the end of April.
The goal of this collection was to make the First Amer-
icans “live forever.” This collection has pictures of all
the tribes in the West. It is a Must See!
“I couldn't go to college, so I went to the library three days a week for 10 years.”— Ray Bradbury
National Library Week and Open House
National Library week is April 9—15. Come visit the library and see
our display of books that were banned at one time. Take some time to read
one or two!
Plan to stop by and say hello during our Open House on April 14. We
will have refreshments and some good conversation! As always, we have a
great selection of books, both new and the old favorites!
Just a reminder: the library will be closed the morning of Tuesday, April 11 to allow the librarians to attend a Region 2 Meeting.

a generous donation. There are children’s movies, comedies, dramas and more.

DINNER AND A MOVIE
Plan to join us for Dinner and a Movie on April 20 at 6:00 PM. This
month’s movie is The April Fools starring Jack Lemmon, Catherine Deneuve,
and Peter Lawford. Newly-promoted if none too happily married Howard Bru-
baker leaves a rowdy Company party early with the stunning Catherine, whom it
turns out is herself unhappily married - to the boss. They spend an innocent
night in New York becoming more and more attracted to each other, so that
when Catherine announces she intends to leave her husband and return to Paris
Howard asks to go along too. In the cold light of morning problems and pres-
sures from spouses crowd in.

MIKE HURWITZ TO ENTERTAIN
Michael Hurwitz is a Wyoming based singer- songwriter with a style
that falls somewhere between the delta blues and western cowboy swing.
With high plains ranching roots going back four generations, Mike started
cowboy in’ at an early age...long days in the saddle, haying, branding
calves and fixing fence taught him the value of hard work, good horses
and friends, and a love for the land and its history.
When he picked up the guitar at 13, Michael learned the old cowboy
songs his Dad sang, and the southern country blues from his Mississippi
Mother, incorporating them and other styles into the musical gumbo he
calls Prairie Blues.
Join us for some wonderful music April 7 at 7:00 pm.
DANIEL MOLYNEUX’S NEWEST BOOK
AUTHOR C. J. BOX
C. J. Box’s newest Joe Pickett novel was released on March 21, and we have
had a waiting list for it since February!
Charles James (C. J.) Box has written 21 novels including the popular Joe
Pickett series and several stand alone novels. His novels have been translated
into 27 languages. Over ten million copies of his novels have been sold in
the U.S. alone. The first novel in his Joe Pickett series, Open Season, was
included in The New York Times list of "Notable Books" of 2001. Open Sea-
son, Blue Heaven, Nowhere To Run, and The Highway have been optioned
for film and television. Blue Heaven, his first stand-alone novel, won
the Edgar Award for Best Mystery Novel of 2008. In 2016, Off The
Grid debuted at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List in March.
Box is a Wyoming native and currently lives in the state. He grew up
in Casper and now lives near Cheyenne. Box graduated with a degree in Mass
Communications from the University of Denver. He has worked as a ranch
hand, surveyor, fishing guide, a small town newspaper reporter and editor,
and he owned an international tourism marketing firm with his wife, Lau-
rie. They have three daughters and one grandchild. He and his wife Laurie
split their time between their home and ranch in Wyoming.
Many of you will remember Pastor Daniel Molyneus from his
time here in Thermopolis. He is also the author of three books.
Daniel, currently the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fair-
field, California, says his passion is to make history and spiritual
truths come alive for the reader. Daniel Molyneux has a master's
from Austin Seminary; a doctorate from Fuller Seminary; and has
done post-graduate studies at Concordia Seminary. Molyneux also
has a B.A. from Rocky Mountain College; and studied at London's
Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
His first book was the historical novella, The Angel of Antioch;
which he sent to the Hot Springs County Library. His second was a
companion book called, Elias' Proverbs. Molyneux's most recent
book is the historical novel, Judas Son of Simon, was just released.
All three books are available at the library.

Have you ever made a gingerbread house? How
about a leprechaun gingerbread house? Kids at the li-
brary got the chance to make one on March 17. They had
a great time, and some of the candy even made it onto
the houses!
Lego Club also got into the spirit on Saint Patrick’s
Day, creating leprechaun houses and traps! Don’t forget
to vote for your favorite either at the library, or on our
Facebook page!
