1. Please verify you have typed your

email correctly 2. If Yes, Please check your spam

folder.

3. If you have not received the Email, please mail to Nodal Officer, NIC

Recruitment Cell at [email protected] along with

your Name and mobile number from

your registered mail id.

8 Registration I have forgotten my

Candidate Id. Where can I get

my registration details?

Candidate Id will be sent by email only.

If you have already registered, please check your mail for the Candidate Id.

Please send a mail with your name and phone number from your registered mail

id to [email protected] for re-sending the registration mail.

9 Registration How to get Password, if a candidate forgets it?

Candidate can reset it using forgot password link.

10 Registration I have received Email with Candidate Id, But while logging

time, system shows ‘Invalid

login’

Check your Email and try again with correct password (Check Caps lock) or

reset the password using ‘Forgot

password? Click here’ link given in the bottom of the login page.

Mobile Phone Number

You can change the registered Mobile

Phone Number any time during the application submission process. You

need to validate this number again

before application submission. After submission, it cannot be changed.

13 Registration Is it necessary to fill up all tabs - Personal Info, ‘Qualifications &

Centre’ in the application?

Yes. The applicant may fill up these details in

any order. Both Personal Info,

Qualifications & Centre of the application should be duly completed as

per instructions. Application submission will be

completed only after uploading of all

documents and payment (if applicable).

14 Registration After filling up and completing

the application form, the data is not displayed on the portal

On completion of each page of

application, you need to save the page. If the same has not been saved, data

typed by you will be lost and you need

to enter the data again, save it and then proceed to next tab/page.

back to the previous steps?

‘A’. I have made a mistake while

entering DOB / Name / Address / Marks etc? Can I rectify the

details?

Yes. Data can be edited till final

submission. Once the Application has been submitted, the data cannot be

edited.

If you have not made final submission, you may login again to edit your

application data.

16 Registration What are the ID Proof accepted? Identification documents/cards like

Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID,

Aadhaar-UID, Employee ID issued by Govt. or Public Sector and Driving

License and other government approved identity proof with Name, Photo and

address will be accepted.

17 Registration I am Woman / Female

(General/SC/ST/OBC/PWD)

candidate. I applied/registered for the post of Scientist – ‘B’

(and/or) Scientific/Technical

Assistant – ‘A’. But I am unable to get/see the “make payment”

button/option. How do I pay application fee?

Women candidates are exempted from

Payment of application fee. If you get a

message showing “Application Submission Completed

Successfully, Payment not required

for female/SC/ST/PWD Applicants” Your application submission process is completed.

18 Registration What is the application fees? Application fee is Rs.800/- for one post. (and Rs 1600 for both posts)

Women/SC/ST/ PWD candidates are

exempted from fee payment

19 Registration Which category of candidates is

Whom do I contact for help?

Payment can be made only through the

recruitment portal after logging into the portal before closing date

If, the problem persists, you may send an email from your registered email id

to [email protected] explaining your

problem along with candidate id and screen shot of the problem if possible.

You may also contact your bank to

ensure there are no problem with the fund transfer.

22 Registration Scanned Image is not as per resolution. What to do?

You need to reduce the resolution/file size using any standard compression

tool and upload. You may try the link How to edit photo resolution.

23 Registration Scanned Pdf is more than 3 MB. What to do?

You need to reduce the file size using any standard compression tool and

upload.

24 Registration I have applied/registered for the

Post of Scientist – ‘B’ (and/or)

Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’. I have not made the payment

on the same day of submission

online application. Now, I wish to make payment. What is the

procedure?

You may login again and make payment

by clicking the payment button in the

Home page of web portal. Payment should be done before the

closing date. If you have not done

payment before closing date your application shall be rejected.

Payment can be made only through the

options listed in the payment portal.

26 Registration I paid the fee by Debit/Credit Card and amount is debited from

my bank account but home page

of the application is still showing payment pending. What should I

do?

If the portal displays payment pending, you need to submit the payment again.

Normally the Payment gateway will

return unsuccessful payments back to your account within 4-5 days.

27 Registration I have made the online payment

but my confirmation page has not been generated.

It means that the payment is not

successful. You need to try again.

28 Registration How will I get proof of fee paid On Successful fee payment, transaction details will be displayed on the portal.

You can take a print out of the same and

keep as proof of fee payment.

29 Registration How to make fee payment? Online through application portal

30 Registration Can I pay fee offline? No. Payment should be made online

through application portal

31 Registration Payment made twice. Will one

payment be refunded / How to get

refund?

Fee once paid, will not be refunded.

32 Registration I have applied / registered

successfully for the Post of Scientist – ‘B’ (and/or)

Scientific/Technical Assistant –

‘A’. What all documents I have to

send?

No Documents needs to be sent. You

only have to upload the scanned documents in the portal.

Documents in original need to be

produced only if you are called for interview/document verification.

33 Registration Whether Application Print out

has to be sent? Whether I have to send my Photo? Where to upload

my Photo?

No. Printout/Photos should not be sent.

36 Registration How do I ensure that my online application has been submitted if

SMS / email have not been

received?

Auto-generated intimation is sent to candidates through email / SMS, which

may not have been received by you due

to reasons like Inbox over loaded, cleaning of spam folder without

checking, email-id inactive, jamming

due to heavy rush/ traffic, congestion of packets in mail server etc. It is advisable

to keep a hard copy of application for any future reference.

Your Application status on the web

portal will show as “Application Submitted Successfully,

Payment not required for

female/SC/ST/PWD Applicants” OR

“Application Submitted Successfully,

Payment received”

37 Registration I have completed the application process. I cannot find any link to

download my application form in

PDF?

38 Registration Can I delete applications already

submitted?

No. Once the application is submitted to

the organization, application cannot be deleted.

Admit Cards are issued after scrutiny of

your application, On the successful scrutiny the Admit Card will be e-

mailed to your registered email ID. You

can also download your admit card after logging into the portal.

In case you have not received Admit

Card 1 week before commencement of written examination, you may mail to

[email protected] .

40 Registration I am currently employed under

Central/State Govt./PSU/ Autonomous Body and I have

successfully registered / applied

for the Scientist – ‘B’ (and/or) Scientific/Technical Assistant –

‘A’. How do I send the ‘No

objection certificate’? i.e. by Speed Post / Ordinary Post /

Registered Post / Courier etc.

Documents should not be sent. You can

upload the document at the time of application submission

All relevant documents should be

produced in original only if you are called for interview/document

verification

41 Registration I am working in a private sector /

MNC. Am I supposed to submit No Objection Certificate?

No.

different from the options submitted by

the candidate.
