Mission & Vision
NCC Mission
The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC)
provides collaborative cybersecurity response
services with comprehensive knowledge and
capabilities through training, education, and
research.
NCC Vision
Enabling cybersecurity information and
expertise for all.
Focus
The NCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
supported by foundation, corporate, and
philanthropic grants and donations to improve
cybersecurity, cyber economic development, and
cyber workforce development nationally for small
and medium businesses, elected officials and
private citizens through responsive defense,
training, education and research.
Jan 20, 2016--incorporated National Cyber Intelligence Center (NCIC)
April 2016--Bylaws Established
UCCS building identified as the future home of the NCIC
May 2016--Act signed appropriating $8 million to the NCIC effort
June 2016--Board of Directors Established
July 2016--National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) name change
November 1, 2016—Initial Operating Capability (IOC)
