BackgroundTourism sector is an important source of income for a region and country. Tourism is an essential activity to the life of nations because of its direct impact on the social, cultural, educational and economic sectors and on international relations. Hospitality is also one of the parts of tourism. Today global industry depends not only on tourism but also depends on the quality of Hospitality provided to International Travelers. Tourism and hospitality are the highest employment generators for many countries of the world. India is having immense natural resources, spiritual environment, cultural heritage and historical importance but in spite of such huge potential and possibilities, we are not optimally utilizing such possibility of tourism and hospitality. As fsr as World Tourism Report 2016 is concerned, India is still not comes under 10 destination (Countries) as most visited by the international travelers. Recently the Union Government of India has taken many initiative like “Swachchha Bharat Abhiyaan”, creation of at least 100 Smart Cities and Incredible India etc. for attracting more travelers towards India.
