JAIPUR

DEAR COLLEAGUESIt is our immense pleasure to invite you to the National Conference on “Sustainable Growth of Business:Strategies and

Challenges” which is being held at The IIS University, Jaipur on 1617 October 2015.

In the present highly volatile business scenario, one of the primary concerns of the policy planners and business

organisations is to strike a perfect balance between practicing sustainability and maintaining growth. The issue of

sustainability holds immense importance for companies at the global level. This involves diverse players including

customers, employees, investors, shareholders, policymakers, activists, analysts and suppliers, all of whom have vested

interests and concerns regarding corporate activities and business trends. It is high time we redefined the various business

functions so as to focus strategically on sustainable development.

Keeping this objective in mind, the conference aims at providing a significant platform for academicians, researchers and

practitioners to initiate deliberations on the various fields of business and their increasing role towards attaining

sustainable development. The conference, is, thus an attempt to bridge the gap between industry and academia and

promote awareness on issues related to sustainable growth.

This conference has, therefore, been planned to achieve the following objectives:

To explore contemporary issues related to Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, and allied areas

To promote deliberations for sustainable business growth

To analyse strategies and challenges for achieving sustainable business growth

To bridge the gap between industry and academia
