A Novel Approach of Digital Video Encryption

Mayank Arya Chandra Research Scholar MJPR University, Bareilly

[email protected] With the dramatic increase in use of multimedia applications, the exponential increase in security incidents and constant attempts by hackers to compromise confidentiality and integrity of multimedia contents, underline the need for stronger security. The recent year with the development of internet technologies and video technologies have been broadly used in TV, communication and multimedia, security required on video data. Although much video encryption technique has been develop but not give so much efficiency in terms of encryption and decryption process. Here we propose a new novel scheme for digital video encryption. In this paper we give a method to generate a encrypted video by encrypted I-frame. Based on novel secure video scheme, an effective and generalized scheme of video encryption. It is a matrix computation scheme which is uses a concept of I-frame and xor operation. This paper proves that proposed scheme can fully encrypt the video frame. Further we can extend our approach into a digital video stenography.

Keywords—video encryption, I-frame, security.

A Study of Cryptography in Network Security

[email protected]

Network Security & Cryptography is a concept to protect network and data transmission over

wireless network. Network Security is a most vital component in information security because it

is responsible for securing all information passed through networked computers. Network

Security refers to all hardware and software functions, characteristics, features, operational

procedures, accountability, measures, access control, and administrative and management policy

required to provide an acceptable level of protection for Hardware and Software, and information

in a network. Network Security covers a variety of computer networks, both private and public,

that are used in everyday jobs conducting transactions and communications among businesses,

government agencies and individuals. Networks can be private, such as within a company, and

others which might be open to public access. In this paper we also studied cryptography along

with its principles. Cryptography is an emerging technology, which is important for network

security.

As its name suggest cloud a big term or I can say a term that relate to infinity ,infinity where we

can assess anything any where we just need an internet connection and a device which is capable

of accessing internet,

Where the concept arrive, As we know our internet is booming so do our data usage ,our data

storage ,data assess ability, etc .Everything is depend on data but in spite it we have limited

resources .

Cloud- A place where we can access application and services ,where we can store data securely

over the networks, It is a big deal for some reasons:

1.We can stored any size of data without worrying about memory and space.

2.We can access it from anywhere without worrying about location.

3.We don’t need to give any type of maintenance over the cloud.

The topic of data warehousing encompasses architectures, algorithms, and techniques for bringing

together selected data from multiple databases or other information sources into a single database,

called a data warehousing, suitable for direct querying or analysis. In recent years data

warehousing has become a prominent important in the database industry, In this paper we enhance

the subject of a data warehouse, we draw a general data warehousing architecture, and we propose

a number of technical issues arising from the architecture that we believe are suitable topics for

exploratory research.

A lot of routing protocols have been developed for Wireless sensor networks. Most of them

considered the homogeneous network scenario where each node have same capability in terms of

processing power, storage, energy, sensing range etc. but practically nodes are heterogeneous in

nature having different values of processing time, storage and energy. Therefore, it is essential to

check the performance of the well accepted routing protocols for heterogeneous wireless sensor

networks (H-WSN). Nodes in WSN are isolated in two ways viz advanced nodes (high energy)

and normal nodes. In this paper, three well accepted WSN routing protocols namely SEP, TSEP

and ZSEP have been benchmarked for their energy pattern in heterogeneous scenario.

Heterogeneity is introduced in terms of initial random energy values given to the sensor nodes. All

simulations are done in MATLAB. Dissimilar parameters are used for scrutiny the effectiveness

of the measured routing protocol for H-WSN. Simulation results shows that there is no obvious

victor for all situations but most of the time TSEP protocol provide better results in terms of cluster

heads formation and TSEP, ZSEP protocols performs better in terms of packets transferred to base

station and cluster heads, on the other hand all the protocols performs well in terms of total number

of dead and alive nodes per round.

Databases now a days can be easily categorized under two broad categories: SQL databases and

NoSQL databases. The topic of this survey paper is to compare the performance, usability,

advantages and disadvantages of various existing databases under both the above categories. The

wildcard character (*) used in the topic name signifies databases under these two categories. With

the current emphasis on “Big Data”, NoSQL databases have surged in popularity. NoSQL

databases were designed to provide database solutions for large volumes of data that is not

structured. However, the advantages (or disadvantages) of using a NoSQL database for data that

is structured, and not necessarily “Big,” is not clear. In this paper I aim to independently investigate

the performance of some NoSQL and SQL databases. I compare read, write, delete, and instantiate

operations on key-value stores implemented by NoSQL and SQL databases. Besides, I compare

one of the NoSQL solutions, MongoDB, to the standard SQL relational database, SQL Server.

This paper also compares the performance of these databases in terms of runtime for a modest-

sized structured database. Results show that MongoDB performs equally as well or better than

the relational database. An independent study designed and implemented an abstract key-value

pair framework supporting these basic operations on all the databases tested. Experimental results

measure the timing of these operations and we can summarize the findings of how the databases

stack up against each other. The results show that not all NoSQL databases perform better than

SQL databases. Some are much worse. And for each database, the performance varies with each

operation. Some are slow to instantiate, but fast to read, write, and delete. Others are fast to

instantiate but slow on the other operations. And there is little correlation between performance

and the data model each database uses.

Data is generated at a very rapid speed and final destination of such data is database. Data is the

most valuable asset in today’s world as it is used in day –to –day life from a single individual to

large organizations. To make the retrieval and maintenance of data easy and efficient it is stored

in a database. Considering the importance of data in organization, it is absolutely essential to secure

the data present in the database. A secure database is the one which is reciprocated from different

possible database attacks. Securing database is important approach for the planning of explicit and

directive based database security requirements. Databases are a favorite target for attackers

because of the data these are containing and also because of their volume. There are many ways a

database can be compromised. In this paper the challenges and threats in database security are

identified.

With new mediums of communication, business and societal activities, growth of Newer and

varied kinds of crime are inevitable. Computers with the aid of the Internet Have today become

the most dominant medium of communication, information, Commerce and entertainment. The

Internet is at once several shopping malls, Libraries, universities, news paper, television, movie

theatre, post office, courier Service and an extension of government and business. It is like life in

the real world Being extended and carried on in another medium that cuts across boundaries, space,

time, nationality, citizenship, jurisdiction, sex, sexual orientation, and age. The Internet, with all

the benefits of anonymity, reliability, and convenience has become an appropriate breeding place

for persons interested in making use of the Net for illegal gainful purposes, either monetary or

otherwise Since anything related to the Internet was being prefixed with the word ‘cyber’1 the

However, the word ‘cyber-crime’, by its very terminology, restricts itself to the offences

committed on the Internet. The term is liable to be given a restricted meaning. It is for this reason

that the authors have preferred the word ‘computer-crimes’ rather than ‘cybercrimes’ which, in its

wider ambit, would encompass offences committed in relation to or with the help of computers.

Defined broadly, the term ‘computer crime’ could reasonably include a wide variety of criminal

offences and unlawful activities related to or having connection to computers. The potential scope

is even larger when using the frequent companion or substitute term ‘computer-related crime’.

Li-Fi is better option than Wi-Fi for Cloud Computing

Pramod Kumar Pandey Dr. Ashok Sharma

The word cloud always been a very interesting one whether it is related with rain, airplane or birds

but now from many years we are relating cloud with computer science and the word is cloud

computing. Cloud Computing, the thought that provide us an opportunity to consider computing

as a utility, on the same node it has the capability to change a large part of the IT industry, providing

software even more attractive as a service side and making the new way for designing and

purchasing of IT hardware. We have different types of method to implement cloud computing and

they are referred to as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS) and Infrastructure

as a Service (IaaS). Cloud computing in simple words is the delivery of services or capabilities

over the network, so we can say that without internet connection cloud computing is completely

failed. On the other hand efficient and robust wireless data communication technology enhances

cloud computing capabilities. However, information technology regularly become older,

overburdened and speed of data communication and accordingly cost of the services also varies

day by day. For this and various other reasons, transformation or enhancement efforts are

underway to make the current electrical era smarter. In this paper we are introducing wireless

technology called Li-Fi over Wi-Fi and its support for cloud computing. This paper also includes

the comparison between these technologies. Wireless communication is becoming the standard in

the business world. The market for wireless communication has grown rapidly since the

introduction of 802.11b wireless local area networking (WLAN) standards. Li-Fi is a new wireless

technology to provide the connectivity with in localized network environment. Li-Fi is a fast and

cheap optical version of Wi-Fi, which is based on Visible Light Communication (VLC). The

source of Li-Fi technology is high brightness LED’s. These LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) can

be switched on and off very quickly which gives you the opportunities for transmitting data at very

high speed and also provides flexibility. Cloud computing services called SaaS, PaaS and IaaS

needs high speed network and Li-Fi could be a great choice in future.

Cloud computing is a model to provide convenient, on-demand access to a shared pool con-figural

computing resources. In cloud computing, IT-related capabilities are provided as services,

accessible without requiring detailed knowledge of the underlying technologies, and with minimal

management effort. A Cloud computing can be getting Anything, Anywhere at Any time. Cloud

computing is a model for delivering information technology services over the Internet as per the

customer’s demand. It is a kind of internet based computing by which client pay for using the

services. A client sends a request to the cloud server, then server respond to his request and deliver

on demand services. When you store your photos online instead of on your home computer, or use

a social networking site, you are using a “cloud computing” service. Cloud computing is supreme

as a new example of large-scale distributed computing. Resistance remarkable benefits derived

from the adoption of cloud computing concept, its prevalent acceptance has been considerably

encumbered by security concerns. Conventional data security approaches have been found in

capacious in restriction these threats and this displeasing trend has compelled the need for a

futuristic approach to data security.

This paper gives an overview of cloud computing, and discusses related security challenges and

threats.

A difference of Application Models: Mobile Cloud Computing

RAJ KUMAR SHARMA

[email protected]

Cloud computing is an emerging concept combining many fields of computing. The foundation of cloud

computing is the delivery of services, software and processing capacity over the Internet, reducing cost,

increasing storage, automating systems, decoupling of service delivery from underlying technology, and

providing flexibility and mobility of information. However, the actual realization of these benefits is far

from being achieved for mobile applications and open many new research questions We also highlight

research challenges in the area of mobile cloud computing. Mobile devices allow users to run powerful

applications that take advantage of the growing availability of built-in sensing and better data exchange

capabilities of mobile devices. As a result, mobile applications seamlessly integrate with real-time data

streams and Web 2.0 applications, such as mashups, open collaboration, social networking and mobile

commerce. The mobile execution platform is being used for more and more tasks, e.g., for playing games,

capturing, editing, annotating and uploading video, handling finances, managing personal health, micro

payments, ticket purchase, interacting with ubiquitous computing infrastructures. Mobile cloud

computing is a model for transparent elastic augmentation of mobile device capabilities wireless access

to cloud storage and computing resources, with context-aware dynamic adjusting of offloading in respect

to change in operating conditions, while preserving available sensing and interactivity capabilities of

mobile devices.” For example, OnLive executes video games in the cloud and delivers video stream to

resource-poor clients without interrupting the game experience.

Today, the advent of information technology has paved the way of reducing the size of the libraries from

biggest to the very small. Infact modern libraries are moving towards smaller and smaller but with the

rich potentials of the information. This shrinking of the libraries is due to the 'digitization of information',

which is the outcome of number of problems faced by the traditional libraries since long. While every

effort has been made to identify relevant initiatives, practitioners, experts and standards in India this

listing does not aspire to be complete nor comprehensive. But what are the problems faced and strategies

of preservation of digital information adopted by the Information Scientists has been taken into

consideration and the solution for it has been discussed therefore.

Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh, India

Efficient management of finance is very important for the success of an enterprise. In present

scenario efficient Working Capital is inevitable for the success of any organization. Working

capital management can be defined as ‘the administration of all components of working capital-

cash, marketable securities, debtors and stock and creditors’. Working capital is one of the

powerful tool to measure the financial position of any business entity. Working capital is blood

of any organization because it includes liquid assets and liabilities which are received and paid in

regular routine business activity. A big proportion of long term finance is regularly required for

the working capital, thus it is integral part of financial decision . The words of H. G. Guthmann

clearly explain the importance of working capital. “Working Capital is the life-blood and nerve

center of the business. The goal of working capital management is to manage the firm’s current

assets and current liabilities in such a way that a satisfactory level of working capital is

maintained. In several units there is adequate working capital but the mismanagement of working

capital increases the costs and reduces the rate of return. The efficient management of working

capital minimizes the cost and improves the financial position of the business.

Social Media is the biggest change since the industrial revolution. Social Media fulfils the

fundamental human need – to communicate. It is not just a marketing tool but is an effective way

of running a business by spreading an organisation’s branded content to a potentially vast online

audience. It has created a unique opportunity for businesses to connect and build brand loyalty

with their customers. A consumer promotes the particular brand or product to their peers after

being satisfied by its loyalty through the advertisements of the brand. In the present scenario,

advertisements on Twitter, You Tube, blogs, and Facebook grab the consumers’ attention keeping

at par with the traditional mediums like newspapers and television. Social media advertising has

become a staple of the ‘media mix’ as marketers tell their stories through attention-grabbing

campaigns. Brands from all sectors like Sony, Red Bull, Dove, Tresemme, Cadbury, Revlon and

Cinthol use multiple social media platforms to drive home their message. The present study aims

to highlight the building up of brand loyalty in social media through the case studies of advertising

campaigns of few consumer products. Keywords: communicate, marketing, brand, brand loyalty, advertisement campaign

The internet of things (IOT) is shaping up to be among the early part of this century’s most prolific

& ubiquitous technological revolutions. We are seeing a rapid progression of IOT devices that

can be seen across all walks of life. In less than three years, nearly everything we do on digital

devices could be interconnected to other digital devices, giving rise to one of the most rapid IOT

advances matched by adoption from customers. The IOT’s impact on daily lives will be

significant and financial services organizations should start planning for these changes- sooner

the better. Increasingly, digital devices- a car, appliances, computing device or wearable- will

communicate directly with each other and potentially with other external entities. These

interactions add value to the experience for the customers by correlating information. With the

explosion of these devices and connections, capital markets, investment and wealth management,

banks and insurance companies, etc. will need to create valuable interactions by handling

enormous amount of data in real time.

Business communication has undergone major changes both in terms of means, but especially on

the content. Thus, if until now the target customers of a company were limited geographically,

nowadays, it must take into consideration a “global customer”, arising in a multicultural

environment.

Also, more than ever, the core of business communication must be the analysis of the potential

clients’ needs in order to provide them with useful information.

In this context, the online media (social networking, email marketing, webinars etc.) represent the

"New World" for corporate communication.

Therefore, the success of business communication depends essentially on how the company

manages to turn digitization into a competitive advantage.

The Internet as a Tool for Social Development

Dr. Manju Goyal

Principal, SD PG College, Ghaziabad

[email protected]

This paper explores the potential role of the Internet in promoting sustainable and equitable

development in Third World countries. Possibilities of using the Internet in a way that will benefit

society at large and vulnerable groups in particular are analyzed within the wider framework of

actual needs and existing facilities of Third World communities. Among the issues the paper

touches upon are the extent to which the Internet is being used and can be adapted to improve

education, health, and political processes. The paper assesses the process of social change these

initiatives represent and discusses aspects to be considered, including the issues of modern versus

traditional communicative practices and the role of language.

The author argues that the Internet can only become a tool for social development if it is applied

in a way that addresses the complex challenges of improving the lives of the least-privileged and

most-needy millions around the world. Social development here means in improvement in the

living standards and general well-being of all members of any given society. Accordingly, if the

Internet is to be socially beneficial, it needs to be used for alleviating poverty, improving access

to health care and education, conserving and fairly distributing resources, and strengthening

participation in decision-making processes. Thus the success of the Internet should be measured

less in terms of sheer numbers of connected individuals and more in terms of accessibility and

contribution to social progress.

By outlining some of the issues to be considered and analyzing these in a wider global and social

context, the author hopes to contribute to dialogue among all involved parties--ranging from

Internet users and service providers to decision makers in both public and private sectors--on the

issue of social responsibility in the development, application, and usage of the Internet in the

Third World.

wireless signals, local networks or the massive grids that power our nation. The threat from cyber

attacks and malware is not only apparent but also very worrisome. A single solution cannot

counter such threats. A good combination of law, people, process and technology must be

established and then an effort made to harmonize the laws of various countries keeping in mind

common security standards. The importance of cyber security in India has increased exponentially

over the last few years, with an emphasis on Digital India and e-commerce and much government

Cyber attacks around the world are occurring at a greater frequency and intensity. Not only

individuals but also motivation of cyber attackers is fast changing. A new breed of cybercriminals

has now emerged, whose main aim is not just financial gain but also causing disruption and chaos

to businesses in particular and the nation at large.

Hence, cyber security plays an important role in the development of information technology as

well as Internet services. Our attention is usually drawn on “Cyber Security” when we hear about

“Cyber Crimes”. Our first thought on “National Cyber Security” therefore starts on how good is

our infrastructure for handling “Cyber Crimes”. This paper focus on cyber security emerging

trends while adopting new technologies such as mobile computing, cloud computing, e-

Advertising is an audio or visual form of marketing communication for promotion of goods or

services or an ideas. It is non personal presentation of an idea or a product it can also be defined

as the way of capturing public attention through paid messages or information which helps to

promote or sell a product, service or brand. Advertising is communicated through various mass

media including old media such as newspaper, magazine, television , radio or new media now

named as web media. The internet has become an essential component of communication across

globe between marketers, advertisers and customers the first post of calls for seeking information

and eventually purchasing goods or services and in the same way for business.

Online advertising or internet advertising or web advertising now is not a new name. It is a form

of advertising and marketing which uses the internet to deliver promotional marketing, messages

to consumers. Customers view online advertising as an unwanted distraction with few benefits

and have increasingly turned to ad blocking for a variety of reasons. It includes email marketing,

search engine marketing, social media marketing, many types of display advertising and mobile

advertising. So online advertising is an essential element of anyone’s marketing max. It provides

you with numerous benefits including lower cost, robust targeting and valuable customer’s

insights that are not available through other advertising mediums.

George Lorimer, American editor & write

Rapid developments in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have fueled the new

paradigm of Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce). Enterprises all over the globe have either

created or are in the process of creating the E-Commerce front-ends to their traditional businesses.

Several new products and services are being innovated and marketed through Internet thus

creating global business opportunity to the tune of billions of dollars. E-commerce has made a

profound impact on consumer’s society. People can now shop online in the privacy of their own

homes without ever having to leave. This can force larger brick and mortar retailers to open an

online division. In some cases, it can also force smaller businesses to shut their doors, or change

to being completely online.

Though e-commerce has enabled the Indian consumer to cross boundaries of states and countries

to procure products of their choice, this increased scope for purchase and sale transactions brought

about by e-commerce is not well protected by the various Indian consumer laws. The laws with

respect to the same have proved to be stagnant, leaving many of such customers remediless. Non

protection of data made available online, ineffective delivery system, misleading advertisements,

uncertainty with respect to jurisdiction in case of disputes, are some of the emerging concerns in

the field of e-commerce. The research paper is mainly based on the secondary data. The secondary

data were collected from various published sources like books, journal, reports, internet etc.

It has been estimated that at the end of 2016, there are around 6.4 billion IOT objects in use

— things like smart refrigerators, smart thermostats, wearable fitness gadgets and even do

collars that let consumers know how their pets are doing. By 2025, there will be 20.8 billion

objects making up the IoT. Also, the Industrial IoT is enhancing efficiency and productivity,

effectively transforming the way companies do work.

Technology has changed the business world many times over. In the Information Age, the

advent of computers and the Internet has increased that impact significantly. Many businesses

cannot even function without the use of computer technology. This impact is seen in nearly all

areas of business, including human resources, where technology continues to have a significant

impact on HR practices.

Due to advent of internet, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) has evolved as a

computerized system used to collect, record, and store, analyze and retrieve data pertaining to an

organization’s human resources. Now we have Human Resource Management System (HRMS)

as a tool designed to ensure that the organization’s human resources are recruited, selected,

developed, employed, deployed, and supported effectively.

information technology, particularly the internet. The idea of using ADR mechanisms “online”,

as it is against the to “offline”, appears to have arisen in the 1990.During that time , some of the

most noticeable ODR services were provided by: (1) the Virtual Magistrate Project; (2) the Online

Ombudsman Office (OOO); and (3) the Online Mediation Project. These projects were originally

developed under the various institutions, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA)

and the National Center for Automated Information Research (NCAIR). Both online and offline

disputes. Within a short period of time, dispute resolution professionals. realised that there were

possibilities for considerable expansion of this burgeoning field. In 1997, Professors Ethan Katsh

and Janet Rifkin founded the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution, which

“supports and sustains the development of information technology applications, institutional

resources, and theoretical and applied knowledge for better understanding and managing

conflict”.Four years later, the first book in the field of ODR was written. Later on, the area of

ODR started to be explored by institutions such as the US Federal Trade Commission, the US

Department of Commerce, the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the Organization

for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Global Business Dialogue, the World

Intellectual Property Organization, and the European Union. In the European Union, in particular,

legislative measures have tended to favor the utilization of ODR mechanisms

We live in a technology driven world. The world that technology has created is a world of

machines - computers, computer systems and computer networks. This world is unique in the

sense that it creates a beautiful interface between hardware and software. If hardware can be

termed as a tangible component then the software provides an intangible component. It is this

combination of hardware and software, which has created a world straight out of science fiction.

The word ‘Cyberspace’ was first used by William Gibson in his science fiction book

Neuromancer, published in 1984. It depicted the story of a hacker (of databases), whose job was

to steal databases for a fee.

Cyberspace is a virtual medium. It has no boundaries, no geographical mass, or gravity. No laws

of Newton or Einstein are applicable here .Cyberspace represents an interconnected space created

by computers, computer systems or computer networks.

E-Commerce in India brought a leading change in the life style of Indian consumer with the entry

of on line retailer Amazon and online auctioneer e Bay in late 1990’s.A report by the Internet and

Mobile Association of India has revealed that India’s e-commerce market reached USD 20 billion.

The e-commerce has made a huge impact on most of the industries in India, the travel industry in

particular. The Internet has become a convenient method for doing business for many people.

Whether the Internet is used for paying bills, buying items through online catalogs or merchants,

trading on the stock market, or just browsing or chatting with others online, the Internet provides

the opportunity for big business and for big fraud.

In a business ecosystem, consumers are the most vital elements. A business is not reviewed in

isolation but is always considered in a combination with the consumers of its good and services.

Even such high level of importance that a consumer has in a business network, it is a matter of

great shame that their consumer rights are not protected due to no availability of effective and

stringent laws and the ineffectual redressal mechanisms, especially in ecommerce or online

transactions.

Thereafter innovative steps were initiated by the business groups to go further with their business

promotion by making use of web for advertising their products .The scenario further changed

with the use of social networking which brought a remarkable flow of online purchases after the

year 2006.The picture as on date is that number of modes are in operation for on line purchases

throughout the country.

In the light of the above, this article would in brief, look through the lens on rights which a

consumer has in case of online transactions, keeping in background the various Indian consumer

This era in which we live today is predominated by the word “Digitization”. This word which has

evolved in recent times has undoubtedly become the crux of “Banking Sector” in our country.

Banks in our country are no longer made of just bricks & mortar delivery channels. They have

surely revolutionized into the concept of anytime, anywhere.

New mantra for banks says Digitalize or die. Digitalization is mainly concerned with what all

banks are required to do in order to provide better services to the customers. There are various

technologies which are to be adopted for digitalization of back office. It also ensures self-

The emergence of new technologies such as the Internet is general understood to positively

change the way that business works. However it is important to realize that success is not

automatic. Other factors are also there, which must be considered. In this paper it is considered

that a wider range of skills is needed e.g. technical skills for doing the business. For the progress

of the business information technology plays a vital role. Small businesses, widely considered a

suitable vehicle for sustainable development for their relationship with public sector agencies and

as partners to much larger businesses. It was argued that for businesses to succeed a range of

competencies are by business managers. They facilitate the relation between the partners and the

market. These are in addition to the skills needed for simple internal operational issues. Moreover,

as the nature of partnerships e.g. Limited Liability Partnership change the mix of required

competencies vary from one circumstance to another. A model is presented that shows some of

the critical relationships between the Internet and LLP of a business and the relationships with

them. Now a days LLP become popular for its very nature to promote the small businesses. In

LLP the person who is responsible for handling taxes can be held personally responsible for any

unpaid taxes from the business. Each partner has a “duty of care” position in the business. If

something where to happen in their area, they are held personally and legally responsible

CONSUMERS V. BODY CORPORATES: ANALYSIS OF

THE EXISTING LEGAL REGIME ON DATA PRIVACY

Reliable Institute of Law.

Consumers as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 embraces any person who buys

goods or avails services for a non- commercial purpose. Transactions by such consumers take

place every second of day after day in the marketplace involving exchange of sensitive personal

information thereby putting one’s privacy at risk. This is more so with the innovation of

technology and subsequent rise in e-commerce transactions and establishment of e-relationships.

As it has been famously said, the digital economy is no longer emerging, it has arrived. Data

transmission between the consumers and body corporate involve 3 stages: data gathering, data

processing and data dissemination. The issue of privacy dealt with in this paper lays emphasis on

the second and third stages, i.e., data processing and data dissemination. Information which forms

the root of privacy is not necessarily similar for all consumer transactions. Sensitive personal

information is commonly transmitted from the consumer to the body corporate (or data

collectors). This imposes a duty upon the receiver of such information to take due care and adopt

reasonable security standards for the protection of the data. However, owing to inherent loopholes

in the existing legal regime on data protection, the consumers are at a grave disadvantage. This

of tackling the issue of lack of watertight security standards to be followed by data collectors of

the information provided by consumers.

India’s first ‘Internet of Things’ policy: One step closer to

Smart and Digital India

Manju gupta

Modern college of law

India, in the recent few years, has been moving towards becoming a digital economy. The digital

space in India has seen a lot of transformations and Internet of Things (IoT) is a recent

phenomenon. Hence the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) has

drafted India’s first ‘Internet of Things Policy’. This policy has been developed with an aim to

make the IoT industry in India to reach the mark of USD 15 billion by 2020 by increasing the

number of connected devices in Indian from the current 200 million to 2.7 billion by 2020.

India’s First IoT policy

India’s first Internet of Things Policy comes at the most appropriate time when the country is

moving towards digitalization and a policy like this will support the initiatives taken in this

direction. Two major efforts taken by the Government of India which will lead to a rapid growth

of IoT industry are Smart Cities project and Digital India Program.

Under the Smart Cities project, the government plans to turn 100 selected cities into smart cities.

Smart cities will be a city with all smart facilities like smart transportation, smart water

management, smart energy management and so forth. This all will lead to a quick expansion of

the IoT sector in India as IoT will play a vital role in accomplishing the smart cities objective.

Modi Government came out with the ‘Digital India Program’ with a vision of ‘transforming India

into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’. This Program has been launched with

the aim to take India towards the era of digitalization and to ensure that all Government services

are available to the citizens electronically. IoT will play a vital role in achieving this, hence

representing a big opportunity for the IoT industry for it to grow and prosper.

Indians have been slow to understand the magnitude of change both for the better –and worse. E-

A new wave of technological advances in wireless communication is making possible a dynamic

ecosystem of connected devices designed to improve our living and work environment. The

Internet of Things (IoT) involves information linked networks comprised of sensors and other

technologies embedded in physical objects, such as washing machines, refrigerators, electronic

meters, home appliances, Security, automation systems, etc. IoT is expected to speed up the

connection of devices, networking systems and IT systems. The growth of interconnected objects

Internet of Things is so much into everything these days that it has started to be called as Internet

of Everything. It is not very surprising that IoT or IoE, as it is now called, has made its way into

the education industry as well. Keeping in mind the intervention of computers and smart phones

into our lives and its effect on the educational system today, it sounds a bit far-fetched at first for

IoT to do anything with the education industry. While some of the effects that IoT can bring into

the education sector are apparent but some will be implicit and are likely to make a silent change

from the inside. Let’s have a look at the changes that IoT can bring into the field of education. The

impact that the computers and smartphones have on education and related things maybe limited

but it sure is entitled to get the credits for making accelerated learning processes. In times when

YouTube or, for that matter, internet did not exist, the only means of reference and clarification

of the doubts were textbooks. They mostly proved to be monotonous and sometimes, even

indecipherable to the students seeking clarification and reference. Now, any student irrespective

of their stream can vouch for the need of Internet for educational purpose and how much it is

nearly impossible to survive without it. Since the internet could bring revolutionary changes up

to this extent, we can expect IoT to bring it much closer to us. One such example would be the

loading of study materials into the laptops and smartphones of students from a central server of

the school. This reduces the weight that students had to carry to their schools, which seemed to

be a long prevailing problem in India. Of course, this involves a lot of cost and investment on

infrastructure but gradually it is likely to be implemented in the wake of changing times. Many

students prefer highlighting key points in their textbooks and take notes in order to improve

readability and offer a quick go through before an exam. This process is time consuming and

inefficient in many ways. Now with the advent of IoT, there are digital note-makers such as Scan

marker’s Air costing about a 100$. It is once in a lifetime investment for the note-makers because

this pen-like device can transfer text that it highlights on any text book in form of digital text on

a notepad or a web page and is claimed to be 30 times faster than the usual note-making process.

This will be particularly useful for students pursuing higher studies where a monumental amount

of text data is being read and notes are being taken. It shall also help in storing data for the purpose

of referring in future.

indigenous and imported products. Modernization became the inevitable result of our civilization.

E- Commerce became the next big thing in the evolution of mankind during 1990’s. In simple

words, E-commerce means any business over the internet. With the outburst of new technologies

doing rounds on an international arena, India became aware of its potential in the area of E-

commerce. The standing force of emerging Hardware Engineers and software professionals made

us at par with our European counterparts. E-commerce was new to India but soon we mastered

the game, with list ‘A’ countries like USA and UK looking for manpower to provide them with

the backend support for the same. India became the hub of E-commerce portals. E-commerce

became synonymous to malls and in no time was replaced by the traditional practices of buying

and selling. Passing of years have seen secured and safe transactions of E-commerce. E-

Commerce became a trusted way of buying and selling products. It became a fashionable trend

to buy online. The goods range from fashion products to household items, from furniture to

chauffer services. The list is exhaustive. It was a win-win situation for all. Consumers witnessed

safe and secure transactions within the comfort of their homes. Whereas, huge business houses

and corporations plunged into heavy profits overnight. But, soon came the need to protect the

interests of citizens in general and consumers is specific. People unfortunately fall victim to unfair

trade practices, deficiencies in services and products in relation to E-Commerce.

In view to above, various Consumer Protection Councils were established at the national, state

and district level to protect the interests of the consumers.

This is the fact about the humans life is that almost everyone who is educated is very much

familiar with the use and the need of the Internet. Today, sitting in the room we can collect the

information immediately without losing considerable time, irrespective of the distance of the

sender of the information.

The humans, always have tendency to know the condition of his property and family. Today, we

can share our views through internet media in the masses without travelling physically or without

actually sending the object. The online sale and purchase or advertisement can be done at very

large extent and even the profits can be collected online.

Not only the economical advertisement but even social, religious and political issues can be

communicated or advertised and even being done so to a large extent.

The new generation feels very comfortable in using the Internet because, the internet can be

started at any time and it can deliver infinite materials about anything that has been uploaded by

numerous number of people. Means, it is not possible for a person to go through all the materials

that are available on the internet and the young generations using the internet get trapped in the

sea of information.

The internet has more data than that of a person mind could use in a life span and this creates an

Internet privacy encompasses a wide range of issues and topics. It can be understood as privacy

rights that an individual has online with respect to their data, and violations of the same that take

place online. The borderless nature of information flows over the Internet complicates online

privacy, as individual's data is subjected to different levels of protection depending on which

jurisdiction it is residing in. Thus, for example an Indian using Gmail, will be subject to the laws

of the United States. On one hand this could be seen as a positive, if one country has stronger

privacy protections than another, but could also be damaging to privacy in the reverse situation

and may lead to complication also, because Indian data residing in US servers. Accordingly

because the companies were acting within the legal limits of the United States where they were

incorporated, they could not be held liable in India.

Currently, India's most comprehensive legal provisions that speak to privacy on the internet can

be found in the Information Technology Act (ITA) 2000. The ITA contains a number of

provisions that can, in some cases, safeguard online privacy, or in other cases, dilute online

privacy. Provisions that clearly protect user privacy include: penalizing child pornography,

penalizing, hacking and fraud and defining data protection standards for body corporate.

Provisions that serve to dilute user privacy speak to access by law enforcement to user's personal

information stored by body corporate collection and monitoring of internet traffic data and real

time monitoring, interception, and decryption of online communications. Additionally,

legislative gaps in the ITA serve to weaken the privacy of online users.

Since 2010, there has been an increasing recognition by both the government and the public that

India needs privacy legislation, specifically one that addresses the collection, processing, and use

of personal data. India's most comprehensive data protection standards are found in the ITA and

are known as the Information Technology “Reasonable security practices and procedures and

sensitive personal data or information” Rules 2011.

[email protected]

Advertising management is a planned managerial process designed to oversee and control the

various advertising activities involved in a program to communicate with a firm's target market

and which is ultimately designed to influence the consumer's purchase decisions. Advertising is

just one element in a company's promotional mix and as such, must be integrated with the overall

marketing communications program. Advertising is, however, the most expensive of all the

promotional elements and therefore must be managed with care and accountability.

Marketers use different types of advertising. Brand advertising is defined as a non-personal

communication message placed in a paid, mass medium designed to persuade target consumers

of a product or service benefits in an effort to induce them to make a purchase. Corporate

advertising refers to paid messages designed to that communicate the corporation's values in an

effort to influence public opinion. Yet other types of advertising such as not-for-profit advertising

and political advertising present special challenges that require different strategies and

approaches.

including the developing the advertising strategy, setting the advertising budget, setting

advertising objectives, determining the target market, media strategy involves media planning,

developing the message strategy and evaluating the overall effectiveness of the advertising effort.

Advertising management may also involve media buying.

is an undeniable fact. Though the term inclusive education has been in vogue for past few decades

and though the education for children with special needs along with the general students has been

spoken of strongly in recent times the attempts to educate the disabled goes back a few centuries.

It would be worth looking at the history of educating the children with disabilities or as they are

now called children with special needs. For a long time those concerned with the field of

education have been grappling with the serious question of what kind of education to provide for

children especially in the context of varying and different abilities of the

students. Traditionally education had come to be separated into two types, namely, general

education and special education This study is conducted in order to assess the challenges and

opportunities to implement inclusive education. In order to attain the objectives of the study,

related literatures on international policies and concepts of inclusive education was reviewed in

detail. Concerning the significance of the study it is expected that it will highlight those concerned

individuals on the existing situation prevailing in connection with the problem under study and

devise mechanisms for addressing the observed situation. The study used descriptive survey. The

finding roughly show that even though there are

some opportunities that support inclusive education it cannot be taken as a guaranty due to lack

of awareness, commitment and collaboration and there are real challenges that hinder the full

implementation of inclusive education.

Teacher is a builder of a nation. The role of a teacher in our society is very important because the

future of a child depends on a teacher. In India importance of a teacher is next to the god.

Therefore it is very important for teacher training institutes that they produce best out of best

teachers for the nation, for the society. It is well known that the quality and extent of learner

achievement are determined primarily by teacher competence, sensitivity and teacher motivation.

Teacher education programme is a programme that is related to the development of teacher

proficiency and competence that would enable and empower the teacher to meet the requirements

of the profession and face the challenges therein. In present study the researchers had put light on

the need and importance of expansion of teacher education, current status of teacher education in

India and possible improvements in teacher education. For the achievement of these objectives

descriptive method is used. Findings show that there is a much need of expansion of teacher

education in India because required number of teachers are not available for teaching in school.

Along with this there is a need of inculcation of technology in all levels of teacher education

programs so that the pupil teacher can learn how to use technology in their future classes as a

teacher.

society. India as a major player in global scenario but for fulfillment of this dream the problem of

our education system are to be identified and remedied correctly. The irony is that while India’s

strength lies in education, particularly in higher education, in the emerging global knowledge

economy, India’s main hurdle to achieving development also lies in education remains poor for

the majority of the population the focus on above mentioned skills has influenced the teaching

learning system i,e the instructional system has shifted to learner centric system from the

conventional teacher oriented system. New dimensions of learning through constructivist

approach are being emphasized. The constructivist approach deals with participative learning,

experiential learning focusing on creation of knowledge by the learner.

India’s higher education system is the world’s third largest in terms of student, next to china and

the United States. As India strives to complete in globalized economy in area that require highly

trained professionals the quality of higher education becomes increasingly important. Higher

Technology is a part of everyday life in the twenty-first century. A paradise on Earth you have

never dreamt of. Information and communication technology (ICT) has changed many aspects of

the way we live. ICT is about new ways in which people can communicate, inquire, make

decisions and solve problems (sarkar 2012). Education means overall development of a child.

Education can be divided into three form Formal Education, Informal Education and Non Formal

Education. Non Formal Education is education based on activity which is not structured and take

place outside the formal system. Non formal education results from an individual voluntary action

and mostly active. Non formal education is linked with community groups and other

organisations. The new information technologies can be applied for non-formal education in

different ways. They can provide teaching materials and new method.

The education system has many issues of concern at present, like financing and management

including access, equity and relevance, reorientation of programmers by laying emphasis on

health consciousness, values and ethics and quality of higher education together with the

assessment of institutions and their accreditation. These issues are important for the country, as it

is now engaged in the use of higher education as a powerful tool to build a knowledge-based

information society of the 21st Century. Now a days IOT has been developed as a new concept

.It means the interconnection via the Internet of computing devices embedded in everyday objects,

enabling them to send and receive data. In this paper researcher has tried to throw light on

different aspects of higher education in the reference of IOT in the era of digitalization. The rise

of IoT allows schools to improve the safety of their campuses, keep track of key resources, and

enhance access to information. Teachers can even use this technology to create "smart lesson

plans," rather than the traditional stoic plans of yesteryear. Outside of the classroom, universities

can use connected devices to monitor their students, staff, and resources and equipment at a

reduced operating cost, which saves everyone money. And these tracking capabilities should also

lead to safer campuses. For example, students would be able to keep track of connected buses and

adjust their schedules accordingly, which would prevent them from spending unnecessary time

in potentially dangerous areas.

Inclusive Education -Educational Access and Equity

Inclusive education is about enabling schools to serve all children (UNESCO - 1994). In other

words, Inclusive means creating schools which welcome all learners, regardless of their

characteristics, disadvantage or difficulties. Inclusive education also means setting schools in the

wider context of education system, where there is formal and non –formal education. It draws on

all resources of their communities to ensure that the needs of diverse learners can be met

effectively. In some country, children are denied the right simply because of being perceived as

different in term of gender, race, culture, Socio-economic background, ability, class or caste.

Inclusive education should be viewed in terms of including traditionally excluded or marginalized

groups making the invisible visible. The most marginalized groups are often invisible in society:

disable children, girls, children in remote villages and the very poor. These invisible groups are

excluded from governmental policy and access to education. In June 1994 representatives of 92

governments and 25 internationals organizations formed the World Conference on Special Needs

Education, held in Salamanca, Spain. The conference reaffirmed the right to education of every

individual, as enshrined in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and renewed the

pledge made by the world community during the 1990 World Conference on Education for all to

ensure that right for all, regardless of individual differences. During the subsequent years or so,

there has been considerable activity in many countries to move educational policy and practices

in a more inclusive direction. The statements released from Salamanca world conference as

follows: School should accommodate all children regardless of their physical intellectual socio-

economic, emotional, linguistic or other conditions. This should include children with disabilities

and gifted children, privileged and under privileged, street and working children, children from

remote or nomadic populations, children from linguistic, ethnic or cultural minorities and children

from other disadvantaged or marginalized areas or groups. As the topic is unique one a few

questions arises in the implications and which need to be answered so that a better understanding

of the concept can be possible. The questions are: Why do we need inclusive education? Don’t

disabled children learn more in special school? Do special schools and special teacher just have

to disappear then…..? Teachers in regular schools often fail to teach normal children; how can

they teach disabled children? etc. the present paper is set answer the above questions.

The Internet plays a major role in the lives of young people today. Children and youngsters engage

in online activities both inside and outside the classroom. With the increasing scope and use of

technology, internet has also paved its way in education, be it formal or informal. Internet has an

enabling role in fostering equity in terms of education through enhancing the reach of education

to one and all by eliminating the obstacles of time, space and distance.

My research paper is based on the use of internet in non-formal education; it gives us the various

examples and also includes pros and cons of internet in non formal education. Further the paper

reflects the various delivery modes and the new innovations being made in technology which

further increases the role of technology and use of internet in non formal education. The paper

concludes that there is a constant need to recreate, improve and make new innovations to generate

awareness and hold the interest of users. It also finds that with the widening use of internet, the

Education has played a prominent role in the awakening and fostering of nationalism, which led

to the autonomy and independence of many former colonized countries around the world. The

rise and fall of nation depends upon the extent of the development of a feeling of nationalism in

its citizens. If this feeling is developing progressively, the nation will rise on the ladder of

greatness step by step till the pinnacle of glory is attained. It is the feeling of nationalism in the

citizens which is responsible to the rise or fall of a nation. Hence, this feeling needs to be

developed and strengthened by all possible ways and means. Education is the most potent and

effective means for this great task. It is why each nation formulates its aims of education and

organizes its educational structure according to its own needs and requirements and with the

definite goal of developing this feeling of nationalism in its citizens. The objective of this paper

is to present the central role that Indian Nationalism will have to play in the educational system

if value-orientation of the students is to be meaningful and complete.

Technology has transfigured all the spheres of human lives both at individual as well as social level

and Education is no exception for it. The human resource concerned with education can take more

advantage from ICT prevalently especially teaching community in distance learning system.

Technology is used in teaching learning process to make it very maneuver and victorious even when

pupil and teacher remain away from each other. It bridges the gaps of distance, time and space,

consequently makes the delivery of content more convenient. Available research reveals that

technology has laid positive impact on the teaching in distance learning mode and in modern scientific

technological society where there is an immediate requirement of providing the knowledge about use

of technology to the teachers. Teachers should become more competent in adopting the skills used in

teaching by virtue of technology and the execution of their content before students may become more

affective. It enables teachers to enrich themselves with the knowledge of presenting the subject matter

in a comprehensive way to the learners. It is required to have a better knowledge of technology in the

concerned subject for teacher to present the content easily and to overcome the problems in

comprehending the complex concepts. In this paper, researcher has attempted to explore the means

by which teachers can improve teaching skills by virtue of technology in Distance learning mode.

INCLUSIVE / SPECIAL EDUCATION

Aparna Bahuguna

[email protected]

Inclusive education programmes provide educational services for all students including those with

special needs. These programmes serve all children in regular classrooms. If any student requires extra

service such as speech therapy, these services are brought into the classroom. This programme allows

students to remain in regular education classroom.

Inclusive education is described as placing all the students regardless of disabilities and severity, in

the regular classroom. A special education teacher collaborates with general education teachers to

provide services for students.

Inclusive education happens when children with and without disabilities participate and learn together

in the same class. When child with disability attends classes alongside peers who donot have

disabilities, good things happen. When children are educated together, positive academic and social

outcomes occurs for all children involved

● Main Principles for quality education :-

• All Children Belong - Inclusive education is based on simple idea that every child/family is valued

equally and deserves same opportunities and experiences. Inclusive education is about children with

disability whether mild or severe, hidden or obvious - participating in each and every activity, just

like they would if their disability were not present.

• All Children learn in different ways - Inclusion is providing the help children need to learn and

participate in meaningful ways. The key is to give as much help as needed.

• It is every child's right to be included - Inclusive education is a child's right not privilege. The

individuals with Disabilities Education Act clearly states that all children with disabilities should be

educated with non disabled children of their own age and have access to the general education

curriculum.

DIGITAL LITERACY: A NECESSITY OF 21st CENTURY

Dr.Rachna kant

Modern college of Professional Studies,Gzb

In present time technology is a necessary asset for any classroom, but for meeting the demands of

global community for the transfer of the students learning it is must that students are digitally literate.

Students today are learning in a different way, as we used to learn in our times, say decades ago.

Digital literacy is a demand of present time, a vision for 21st century learning in which teachers

become mentors, students become empowered and ultimately they learn. Students of present time

should have good digital citizenship, means understanding and applying appropriate and responsible

usage of internet and technology. As a educator it is the urgent need of present time that students

should be encouraged to be digitally literate in a classroom. Digital literacy is also a must for

professional development and learning for the staff and faculty. Teachers can integrate digital literacy

in the learning process by doing this ,they will be able to come out from the traditional way of teaching

to a new and innovative way. Digitally literate teachers see technology for all of its creative potential,

it does not mean that the teachers become experts but by doing so they can understand the tools which

they can use in the process of teaching learning

Our government is also planning to achieve a digital literacy in the near future. Telecom minister Mr.

Manoj Sinha said that 100% digital literacy is required to make the country a truly digitalized society.

So it is the urgent need of today’s time to develop digital literacy for the betterment of society.

ICT : A MODERN TOOL IN WAY OF LEARNING

Mrs. Reena Agarwal

Asst. Prof. MCPS

Integrating ICT into education seems to be a vital issue for educators / education administrators in

the world. The prevailing curricula for ICT in education targets at realizing the goals of the national

policy of ICT in schools education and the National Curriculum Framework.

UNESCO (2009) has rightly stated that Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) cannot

meet the demand for higher education in the developed and developing world without distance or

digital modes of learning, which is facilitated,. Worldwide research has shown that ICT can lead to

improved student learning and better teaching methods.

A report made by National Institute of Multimedia Education in Japan, dependable that a take turn

for better in adherent acknowledgment to educational ICT through curriculum integration has a

pertinent and positive impact of steam on student achievement especially in terms of Knowledge,

Comprehension, Practical skills and Presentation ingenuity in subject as mathematics, science, and

social study.

ICT play numerous roles in developing an effective gaining knowledge of environment. It acts as

a trainer, explains middle content principles, and addresses misconceptions. It acts as a stimulant and

fosters analytical questioning and interdisciplinary studies. It networks a learner with

the peers and experts and develops collaborative environment.

The impact of ICT on trainers, learners, researchers is tremendous. It is assorted the contours of the

education lying-in system in the world by enhancing attain to information for all. It furthermore

ensures effective and inclusive education. It supports the concept of open learning where the thrust is

upon enhanced student access and the development of student autonomy.

Inclusive education has been the latest trend in the field of Education during the last two decades is

an undeniable fact. Though the term inclusive education has been in vogue for past few decades and

though the education for children with special needs along with the general students has been spoken

of strongly in recent times the attempts to educate the disabled goes back a few centuries. It would

be worth looking at the history of educating the children with disabilities or as they are now called

children with special needs. For a long time those concerned with the field of education have been

grappling with the serious question of what kind of education to provide for children especially in the

context of varying and different abilities of the students. Traditionally education had come to be

separated into two types, namely, general education and special education This study is conducted in

order to assess the challenges and opportunities to implement inclusive education. In order to attain

the objectives of the study, related literatures on international policies and concepts of inclusive

education was reviewed in detail. Concerning the significance of the study it is expected that it will

highlight those concerned individuals on the existing situation prevailing in connection with the

problem under study and devise mechanisms for addressing the observed situation. The study used

descriptive survey. The finding roughly show that even though there are some opportunities that

support inclusive education it cannot be taken as a guaranty due to lack of awareness, commitment,

and collaboration. And there are real challenges that hinder the full implementation of inclusive

education.

Inclusive Education in India : Prospects and Challenges

Mr. Anurag Sharma

Assistant Professor

Department of Education

S.D.P.G. College,

Ghaziabad

[email protected]

Inclusive education “is a process of strengthening the capacity of the education system to reach out

to all learners. It involves restructuring the culture, policies and practices in schools so that they can

respond to the diversity of students in their locality.” For a school to be inclusive, the attitudes of

everyone in the school, including administrators, teachers, and other students, are positive towards

students with disabilities. Despite the promotion of inclusive education, govt. documents focus on

inclusive education as being about including children with disabilities in the education system, but

not specifically the mainstream. However, inclusion in the education system is not the same as

inclusion in the mainstream. It is however arguable that special education is in fact regarded as

superior in India due to its preferred status and that it is inclusion in the mainstream that is currently

seen as the resource – constrained inferior alternative. The education paves foundation for the growth

and development of the children. The children with special needs skip milestones of development

due to their disabilities and misses out important experience thus developing secondary handicaps.

The author focuses upon compensating these gaps with an optimistic motion for successful inclusion.

Efficiency of Teacher to teach Children with Special Needs

(CWSN) in Inclusive Setting

DIET,Pitampura

Teaching of Children with Special Needs has always been a challenge for teachers .It had been

resolved through inclusive approach of learning. In the past CWSN were imparted teaching through

various gadgets in special schools. However these gadgets were not up to the expectation of children.

Thus with time these gadgets were improvised and now we are in the stage of information technology

revolution and technologies for special children educational need is not untouched. Now with the

help of computer children with special need can extract information by choosing the programme of

their choice as these programmes are special child friendly. Teachers can now deal with information

according to need of pupil and thus has made task easy for teacher and this can easily enhance the

teacher abilities to impart education. Whether disability is relation to visio nor senses. These are no

more a deficiencies one can counter these by keeping a pace with technological development. Stephen

The Internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol

suite (TCP/IP) to link devices worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of private, public,

academic, business, and government networks of local to global scope, linked by a broad array of

electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries an extensive range of

information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents and applications of

the World Wide Web (WWW), electronic mail, telephony, and peer-to-peer networks for file sharing.

The origins of the Internet date back to research commissioned by the United States federal

government in the 1960s to build robust, fault-tolerant communication via computer networks. The

primary precursor network, the ARPANET, initially served as a backbone for interconnection of

regional academic and military networks in the 1980s. The funding of the National Science

Foundation Network as a new backbone in the 1980s, as well as private funding for other commercial

extensions, led to worldwide participation in the development of new networking technologies, and

the merger of many networks

Internet use grew rapidly in the West from the mid-1990s and from the late 1990s in the developing

world. In the two decades since then, Internet use has grown 100-times, measured for the period of

one year, to over one third of the world population. Most traditional communications media, including

telephony, radio, television, paper mail and newspapers are being reshaped or redefined by the

Internet, giving birth to new services such as email, Internet telephony, Internet television music,

digital newspapers, and video streaming websites.

Internet usage has seen tremendous growth. From 2000 to 2009, the number of Internet users globally

rose from 394 million to 1.858 billion. By 2010, 22 percent of the world's population had access to

computers with 1 billion Google searches every day, 300 million Internet users reading blogs, and 2

billion videos viewed daily on YouTube. In 2014 the world's Internet users surpassed 3 billion or

43.6 percent of world population, but two-thirds of the users came from richest countries, with 78.0

percent of Europe countries population using the Internet, followed by 57.4 percent of the Americas.
