How to realize the promise of convergence, cloud, big data and any new technology

IT and business must evolve together to close the gap

Compartmentalized• IT owned in each LOB•No cross company leverage, user exp.

Standardized• IT cost focus: skill silos•Little IT innovation•Executive mandate

Optimized• IT cost focus: Optimize platform & processes • Joint gov & prioritization

Service Oriented•Business outcome driven • IT as innovation rather than cost center

Goal: IT capability and capacity matches business needs
