5" x 5" CCA treated posts (6" x 6" used on lengths over 20') set on 10' centers (8' or 12' centers are used on some buildings). (Standard post depth is 2'6" to 3'0" - Based on level ground) Laminated columns are optional and are used for longer lengths.

2" x 6" Treated Bottom Plate. (Bottom Plate can be used as a form for pouring a concrete slab).

V-Braces are used on open walls, sheds and porches.

inside to create the taller section and the wings will drop down lower. Typical center height is 16', 18, 18', 20'. This style of building is great for horse barns and adding a loft in the center. We use only #1 primary, American made metal.

• All lumber is #2 Grade Southern Yellow Pine and/or Douglas Fir (truss bracing may be #3 grade).Lumber that has ground contact is fully treated. Treated lumber has a lifetime manufacturer’s limited warranty. Lumber can be upgraded for additional cost, or modified to meet local building restrictions.
