Assessements
National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP): reading, mathematics, science, writing, U.S. history, civics, geography, and the arts.
National Assessments of Adult Literacy (NAAL): Adult literacy
Early Childhood
Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS): Kindergarten Class of 1998-99 (ECLS-K) and Birth Cohort (ECLS-B). Provide detailed information on children's health, early care and early school experiences.
National Household Education Survey (NHES): School Readiness and Parent and Family Involvement in Education. Surveys on adult education, parent and family involvement in education, before- and after-school programs and activities, civic involvement, early childhood program participation, household library use, school readiness, and school safety and discipline.
