The main island of Sri Lanka, formerly called Ceylon, is an island in the Indian Ocean belongs to Sri Lanka, located in Southern Asia, southeast of India, in a strategic location near major Indian Ocean sea lanes. It has a total area of 65,610 km², with 64,740 km² of land and 870 km² of water. Its coastline is 1,340 km long. Sri Lanka’s climate includes tropical monsoons: the northeast monsoon (December to March), and the southwest monsoon (June to October). Its terrain is mostly low, flat to rolling plain, with mountains in the south-central interior. The highest point is Pidurutalagala at 2,524.13 m. Natural resources include limestone, graphite, mineral sands, gems, phosphates, clay, hydropower.

Sri Lanka’s climate can be described as tropical, and quite hot. Its position between 5 and 10 north latitude endows the country with year-round warm weather, moderated by ocean winds and considerable moisture. The average temperature ranges from a low of 16 °C (60.8 °F) in Nuwara Eliya in the Central Highlands (where frost may occur for several days in the winter) to a high of 32 °C (89.6 °F) in Trincomalee on the northeast coast (where temperatures may reach 38 °C or 100.4 °F). The average yearly temperature for the country as a whole ranges from 28 to 30 °C (82.4 to 86.0 °F). Day and night temperatures may vary by 4 to 7 °C (7.2 to 12.6 °F). January is the coolest month, especially in the highlands, where overnight temperatures may fall to 5 °C (41 °F). May, the hottest period, precedes the summer monsoon rains.

Nasna Impex Garments Industries is a Board of Investment of Sri Lanka approved garment factory situated within Colombo city limits, established in year 1999. We are a company owned by few directors who are fully involved in all operational aspects of the company.

Nasna Impex Garments Industries is one of Sri Lanka’s Apparel exporters of ethically sourced, global brands of clothing. Company outputs approximately 1million pieces per annum produces at the manufacturing plant.

We manufacture quality garments of great value, on long term business relationship & specializing in Co-operate Work wear, Children Garments, Men’s Wear & Ladies Wear. Using the best in machinery, technology & best practices we wish to provide our customers a personalized service. Currently employs over 400 skilled workers and produces 90,000 pieces every month (knit / woven).

During its 16 years in the industry, Nasna Impex Garments Industries has been able to widen its market share in Europe 70% and the USA 30%. We are strongly committed to ethical manufacture and sustainable development assuring the industry’s commitment to ethical working conditions, free of child labour, free of forced labour, free of discrimination and free of sweatshop practices.

Having started with 50 machine manufacturing plant in 1999, we scaled up to 250 machines. Today we operate 9 Production lines with 250 machines.

Quality control Garment qualityCommitment to excellence

Quality control starts right from sourcing the finest fabric and trims. A contemporary sampling facility, equipped with the finest machinery and CAD system, takes care of meeting specific requirements of the customers.

Stringent procedures at every stage of production determine the defect-free quality of pour products. We follow- Four point system for fabric inspection as well as quality standards that adhere to AQL 2.5.

All our quality assurance inspectors are thorough in 7.0 quality system as well as traffic light monitoring. Further to this we have a centralized Auditng to evaluate each finished sewn bundles by independent auditors. Before dispatch each and every garment is being carefully handled and checked for final appearance.

Our certifications recognize our responsibility towards complying with international standards and norms. The SEDEX certificate for apparel production, ITS certification are some of the certifications that have been conferred on us.

production processOur modern factory is spread over an expensive area of 20000 sq.ft. It houses the latest equipment and state-of-the-art machinery imported from around the world. Equipped to handle nearly 2500pcs per day. The facilities for Development, sample making ,fitting , storing ,cutting , sewing , finishing and packing enable a streamlined and hassle free process of production. Our integrated facility to manufacture garments are designed to handle both smaller qty orders to larger volumes. With a capacity of 220 machine operators and 250 machines, we produce over 90,000 Pieces per month. Our main values are Integrity and honesty for our valued customers at all stages.
