Definition of Narrative Paragraph
Narrative Paragraph deals with problematic events that lead to crisis or complication which in turn find resolution (in past events).
Generic Structure of Narrative ParagraphOrientationSetting the scene, introducing the participant/s or giving necessary background.Who, when, and where.
ComplicationWriting a crisis, in which the problem or complication arises and it creates tension, is carefully written until it finds its climax.
ResolutionFinding the end of the narration or the crisis is resolved; it can be happy or unhappy ending.
ReorientationClosing the narration by using personal comment or opinion; it is optimal
Narrative Paragraph:
Pinocchio
once upon a time there was old man called Geppetto, he was a poor old wood carver. One day he made a puppet he called the puppet Pinocchio, because he had no a child, he wish that the puppet could life as his son. Suddenly, the puppet smiled, Geppetto was shocked and hugged Pinocchio. Some day Geppetto went to market, he left Pinocchio alone. Two wolfs came to catch Pinocchio, he cried and screamed but there was no people around, suddenly he was saved by a fairy. The fairy gave a condition, Pinocchio might not lying. If he did, his nose would be longer and longer. Finally, he met with Geppeto and they live happily.
