– Provides opportunities for structured extra-curricular involvement such as the

Army Navy Game and the Graduation Ball.

• Amount: – $2,000 per M/C

– Paid through 8 monthly payroll deductions

– Scholarship awards may be applied

• Checks must be received from the awarding organization and made out to

“NAPS BAF”

– Unspent funds will be returned in form of “Yard Cards” during the fall of Plebe year

Battalion Activity Fund (BAF)

• Goals: – Mentorship & role modeling.– Promote Navy’s core values.

• Sponsors: – Senior military or affiliated civilians with

extensive DoD backgrounds.– Naval War College, surface warfare, aviators,

submariners, JAGs, combat arms, etc.
