2 day WORKSHOP on
October 24 - 25, 2013
“Nanofabrication Technologies - 2013”
Jointly organised by
INUP / IIT- B & PSG INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES (PSGIAS)
Name Name
Prof. Dipankar Saha GaN based Spintronic Devices
Prof. BhaskaranMuralidharan
Nanoscale thermoelectric energy conversion
Solution Processible Organic-Inorganic Semiconductor Based Hybrid Optoelectronics Devices
Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP) :
PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS) :
The Program :
INUP is jointly
run by the Centres of Excellence in Nanoelectronics (CEN) at the
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) and the Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc). It is an initiative to create
and spread the expertise of Nanoelectronics in the country. INUP
serves as a platform for the researchers in Nanoelectronics to come
together and benefit from the nanoelectronics fabrication and
characterization research infrastructure available at the CENs.
The main aim of INUP is to provide hands-on training in
Nanoelectronics to researchers from other institutions in the
country and to assist in the initiative of research in
Nanoelectronics by enabling the execution of the work of the
external users at CENs at IITB/IISc.
INUP is supported by Ministry of Communications & Information
Technology (MCIT), Government of India.
PSGIAS was
established in 2006 by PSG & Sons' Charities with a mission to
foster quality research and advancement of knowledge and skills
in selected areas of nanoscience & technology, nano-
biotechnology, plastic printed electronics, smart textiles, hybrid
renewable energy systems, healthcare devices, robotics,
mechatronics, advanced manufacturing, fuel cells etc.
PSGIAS has start-of-art facilities for nano characterization and
other supporting laboratories like nano chemistry, printed
electronics, hybrid solar energy, functional textiles, sensor
development, Nano-biotechnology & bioengineering, electro
chemical energy material, bio- inspired robotic lab.
The workshop is aimed to focus on the exposure of
various ongoing research activities on NEMS and Nanofabrication
technologies at IIT-Bombay and how the CEN facilities can be
availed and benefited by faculty members of academic institutions
/Ph.D/M.Tech/B.Tech students and Industries.
Speakers and topics :
Following experts from IIT-B will be sharing their expertise on the
given topics:
Prof. Anil Kottantharayil
